Obama’s fundraising letter using the “so-called” partial birth abortion ban
Excerpt from the letter:
That’s why it is critical we nominate someone who has faced these tough choices. That’s why nominating an experienced legislator is so important in this race. It takes courage to cast a vote.
A few of his “tough” choices….

He sponsored S.CON.RES.53: A concurrent resolution expressing the sense of Congress that any effort to impose photo identification requirements for voting should be rejected.
In 1999 he was the only Illinois State Senator to vote against a bill barring early release for (criminal) sex offenders.
He voted against filtering pornography on school and library computers and he voted for sex education for kindergarten children through the 5th grade.
Also, in 2001, he voted “present” on a bill to keep pornographic book and video stores and strip clubs from setting up within 1,000 feet of schools and churches.
Twice, Obama voted against bills prohibiting tax funding of abortions….

Okay, I think I am missing something.
I have read the Illinois BAIPA Here:

The one Obama voted “NO” on.
Then, I read the federal bill, here:

Now, I hate to defend Obama, but these two bills are NOT the same! The Illinois bill doesn’t contain this clause:
“`(c) Nothing in this section shall be construed to affirm, deny, expand, or contract any legal status or legal right applicable to any member of the species homo sapiens at any point prior to being `born alive’ as defined in this section.’.”
Careful calling him a ‘liar’. Seems to me that he is telling the truth. The Illinois bill was different. Tell me what he has lied about.
Also, I wonder why all these clips only include that one small portion?
I would like to hear the whole argument by Obama. It is quite damning. I want to hear in his own voice, Obama saying:
