Emergency responders were still at the scene of accident on I-690 west of the state fairgrounds, where four adults and three children ages 6 to 11 were pulled from an SUV.
The adults and children from Webster, near Rochester, were hurt when a truck struck a footbridge over Interstate 690 a mile west of the state fairgrounds, causing a piece of the bridge to fall onto the SUV.

Unbelievable that no one was killed. Not a great way to start off the Fair anyway.
This had traffic backed way up for quite some time.
Hope the Wife pulls thru.
We were taking 690E to come home and ALL the traffic was being diverted. They had all the onramps closed off with state troopers directing traffic.
I saw one trooper lighting his second or third flare and figured that it must have been a bad accident to close off that much of the 690 for that long.
on is of
What?!!
ah yeah What?
A few feet back on that SUV and there’d be no survivors.
I hope no one was on that bridge when that happened.
It’s likely there was as that looks like the bridge from the parking lots to the fairgrounds.

Your comment in post 4 doesn't make much sense, that's all. Neither does the one in post 6.
No, that’s not the bridge to the fairgrounds. If it was there would have definitely been someone on it.
That’s the one that crosses over the 690 before it splits off to Fairmount then, isn’t it?
Translate. What does this mean? Try your native language if that's easier.
I’m live in Webster. Don’t know the family...My oprayers to the family.

It’s west of the fairgrounds and it looks like it leads to nothing but it leads to the West Shore Trail that runs along the lake.
