My parents never spanked me or my brothers, and we turned out okay. Parents have to decide for themselves what course they want to take on this. It’s not the government’s place to give orders on the subject - one way or the other. If I ever have kids, I’ll probably go the same way my parents went with me.
My boyfriend, on the other hand - when he’s naughty, I spank him.
