Conyers is chairman of the powerful House Judiciary Committee, while Charlie Rangel is chairman of House Ways and Means.

Conyers has allied himself with a known front for the Revolutionary Communist Party (World Can't Wait-Drive Out the Bush Regime), and Rangel with a Workers World Party front (Troops Out Now).
