You misunderstand. No threat is meant, only disdain.

Ah. It might be mutual, then.

Sorry that you disdain a guy who wants to elect a competent commander-in-chief instead of chasing after rainbows. I did not want Senator McCain to be our nominee, but now that he is I intend to keep the moron Obama away from the big chair. I am making the choice Reagan made in 1976.

I'm saddened to know that someone who wasn't born in a banana republic thinks that being an adequate Generalissimo is the same as being a good president.

I suppose it's a natural enough mistake for someone who is giving their unconditional love and fealty to a guy who actually was born in a banana republic.

> Unfortunately, that investigation she is currently under probably nixes that idea.

If you mean the dust-up about her bro-in-law the trooper's job, that appears to have been cooked up specifically to tarnish her reputation prior to this election cycle, to keep her out of the running for VP. I'm not overly impressed by the case against her; among other things, her bro-in-law still has his job. Sounds like a he-said-she-said.

I wasn’t saying it had any merit.

I’m not one of his fans, but one of two men is going to be inaugurated on January 20, and one of them will be a competent commmander-in-chief and a friend to the pro-life cause. I can help that guy, or I can help South Side Bambi. Easy pick.

We are at war, sir. Jimmy Carter is not acceptable. FDR is.

I suppose it's a natural enough mistake for someone who is giving their unconditional love and fealty to a guy who actually was born in a banana republic.

My my, you sure are cuddly cozy when it comes to my emotional state. Is that some sort of man crush you have there? Be advised I'm straight as an arrowand wouldn't be interested in leaving my wife.

No, describing me as someone who "loves" McCain is certainly some sort of wishful thinking on your part, and using the term "fealty" to describe a willingness to vote for someone in a democratic election is even sillier. I support Senator McCain for the same reason I would support having my foot amputated if the alternative was dying of gangrene. Meanwhile, we have folks on this site yelling, "No, no, don't amputate, I've got a witch doctor right here who can fix you right up! At least, that's what the chicken entrails say."

Then, for more fun, you actually act like it's a detriment to McCain that he was born in Panama while his father was there as part of his 40 year career defending our nation.

I’ll sure be glad when the Clinton Convention is finally over. I intend to avoid watching it, of course, but you won’t be able to avoid hearing about it.

Since we’ll see the same clips over and over, I hope that Chelsea at least wears a sexy short dress. LOL

I may watch if I can make sure that ALL throwable objects are safely secured away...unfortunately, it has that same icky draw factor as a horror movie kinda thing, you're repulsed and terrified, but you look away. ;^(
