TBILISI, Georgia - A train carrying oil products hit a land mine near Georgia's strategic central city of Gori on Sunday, causing at least two tanker cars to burst into flames, a government official said.
A television report however said 10 tanker cars were on fire about 6 miles east of Gori. Television footage showed large clouds of black smoke billowing from the site.
There were no immediate reports casualties, though a television report said two houses were damaged and windows were blown out.
Georgian Interior Ministry spokesman Shota Utiashvili blamed Russia for the blast.

That’s a new trick. I’ve heard of blowing up train tracks and blowing up trains, but not using an automated land mine to kill a train.
Mining infrastructure would sure seem to run counter to the spirit, if not the letter, of the ‘ceasefire agreement’...
Wondering what other nasty little surprises the Russians have left behind....
Russians love explosives and mines. Probably all the tricks they left behind in Afghanistan - including the explosive childrens’ toys and explosive pens.
Did you here about the truck hitting the auto accident?
Well I tell you, the lil dwarf like man got out and steamed over to the truck and said I AM NOT HAPPY, the guilty party asked well then who are you..
Perhaps they just buried a tank landmine under the tracks.
That’s a heck of a lot of work to do. Far easier to just blow it up.
Perhaps they wanted to destroy the train also.
Probably command detonated, anti-tank would have taken out the engine. Kind of odd, usually these are placed on a curve
to derail the whole string, could have been time delay on one of the tanker cars.
