Actually, cripplecreek has a good point.

While this has never been an issue in the past, it is going to be an issue in the future, no question at all.

Maybe not this election cycle, and maybe not the next, but mark my words, it is going to be a major issue someday. When do we start paying attention to it?

As other posters have said (and I agree) he can be defeated on the issues. But this is something that should be established without a doubt before a candidate should be allowed to participate in the primary process. I am not sure this has been done, but I could be wrong.

Agreed. Let him run and be destroyed at the polls.

Obama losing this election badly will send a very strong message.

Having "The Chosen One" disqualified would martyr him to millions who would never accept his disqualification as "fair." It's the kind of thing that could trigger race riots.

The birth certificate issue is a mountain of distraction for nothing.
