WASHINGTON The man whose lawsuit overturned Washington's handgun ban has successfully registered his revolver, ending a more than 30-year wait to keep the weapon in his home.

The revolver Heller registered is a .22. He tried, but was unable to register a 1911 due to the city’s revised law defining most semi-autos as machineguns. For that, I understand a new legal action was filed.
Not so sure I’m ready to jump up and celebrate over a “registered” revolver. But many thanks to him for his efforts nationally.
Hope they challenge the requirement registration itself.
The only reason I can think of for registration is to ensure ease of confiscation.
Too early to change my tagline.
