Mitt is It!

Consider Romney is warming up in the bullpen, shortly to officially become McCain's pit bull, running mate and heir apparent to the 2012 and 2016 elections, shutting out the Wicked Witch of the Ozarks for all time!

Romney helping the McCain campaign, taking on the Democrats and Obama.

Soon the Romney loathers will descend upon this thread. Does their malevolence towards Romney extend as well to him when at the GOP's request, he pitches in to help? We'll find out.

Mitt, da Man ! I so hope it’s Mitt. As far as I am concerned, McCain can erase all his past sins by nominating Mitt.

As long as you keep promoting this life long liberal and political shape-shifter, this conservative will be in your face. Btw, FReepers loathe all liberals --- Willard included. All attempts to morph Romney into a conservative icon will be met with stiff resistance.

There’s a huge rumour that the RNC is going to announce the GOP VP pick the very same night Barack Hussein Obama gives that acceptance speech in that stadium, and that the
choice will probably be Mittens.

Lets try this a different way. What does Mitt Romney bring to the table that McCain needs.

I don’t think Mitt would be a bad choice for Vice President. He is polished, been an executive in the public and private sector, and his name carries clout in Michigan which could prove to be pivotal.

I also wonder what the chances of getting Mark Sanford on the ticket would be? I could see McCain pick someone nobody expects for the wow factor going into the RNC.

I’d rather have Romney than Kay Baily Rino.

I don’t loath him, I think he’d make a great Treasury Secretary. I think if it’s important to “rally the base” then choose a Reagan Republican. Which candidate was stylistically and philosophically closest to Reagan?

The Mitt loathers never give up and will never change a mind. I just roll past them without reading. I had a blast in the fall of 2006 getting their goats. Say you are voting for him because he is the prettiest really cranks them up,lolol, and they believe you! He has it all, and some of them must just be jealous.

I really hope it is Mitt, he was my first pick. My next choice would be Palin sp? governor of Alaska.

Executive experience. A strong successful business man. Would be a great debater versus Bin Biden. Knows the issues and is well spoken. Looks youthful.
