A ban against unmarried couples becoming foster or adoptive parents is scheduled to appear on Arkansas ballots this fall – and some say the measure is geared at denying homosexuals the chance to raise children.
The Arkansas Family Council Action Committee submitted 85,389 of the required 61,974 voter's signatures to place the proposal on the Nov. 4 ballot, according to Associated Press reports. Family Council President Jerry Cox said getting the proposed act on the ballot is a significant step for families.
"Arkansas needs to affirm the importance of married mothers and fathers," he said. "We need to publicly affirm the gold standard of rearing children whenever we can. The state standard should be as close to that gold standard of married mom and dad homes as possible."

.....and my girlfriend’s cousin and his partner adopted a 4y.o. child from an orphanage in Russia a few years ago and that child will have a much better life because of it......better since the day he left and they were able to get rid of the leishcmania infection, and pull all his rotten baby teeth...and get him on a good diet.
This ban would screw that now healthy child to a life of crime like the rest of ‘em, where he would pick up XDRTB in a Russian prison and die by the age of 20.
Can someone give me a rational example of why homosexuals should be trusted with the impressionable minds of innocent children?
There are little indications that homosexuality is caused by a genetical condition. There are several indications that homosexuality is a learned behavior. Most forms of sexuality is learned; even heterosexuality.

the 11th Federal DCA ruled it is explicitly LEGAL to prohibit homosexuals from adopting children. Adopting is an artificial creation of the legislation so there is no fundamental rights to adoption.
Arkansas will only have problems with NY and Mass full faith and credit attacks.
Well I certainly hope you reported the perverts to the auhorities and cut them completley out of your life. You focus what “good” the “adoption” has done to the child - who is just one victim. What about the damage such “adoptions” cause to everybody else? Personally, if I saw two faggots with a kid, I would do something. To do nothing - let alone to encourage such perversion - amounts to complicity.
Oh, they do know that this is the essence of a family, the basis of raising the next generation, and the basic building block of a stable society. This is the point, disrupt society so that we'll accept authoritarian socialism.

No, there are tens of thousands of Russian orphans that do not get placed AT ALL and then they’re placed “on the street” where they end up in jail and dead from XDRTB within 3 years.

I have no problem if the People want to ban adoption from state affiliated or to protect the right of religious orphanages to not give kids to homosexuals.....but altogether...from EVERYWHERE...just shows that y’all care more about espousing your religious views than “the children” you claim to care about the upbringing of.

I agree. Kids should get placed with a married couple first, but the fact is that there just aren’t enough married couples willing to adopt these kids. Personally, I’d rather kids go to a stable homo couple than see them bounce around in the foster system until the state kicks them out on the street when they turn 18.
This kind of thing should be decided on a case-by-case basis; a broad ban like this only serves to hurt the interests of orphans and foster children.
