With a Fox News helicopter overhead and police at bay below, pro-lifers are more than halfway toward their official Guinness Book of World Records attempt to display the largest ever protest sign.

This makes us all so proud to be conservative pro lifers.
Personally, I don’t like sarcasm tags on a good line. If people can’t differentiate, getting slapped down for assuming the worst and arguing is probably a good way to learn.
There’s a local radio host here with an dry and irreverent sense of humor, but he just ruins it by adding “just kidding” and the end of half his lines. If he had more confidence to be misunderstood by a few, he’d be way more entertaining to everyone else.
Sounds like it's slightly too small for the media to notice or see it much less report anything regarding it.
Nice,here’s a bump.
This is great and will be remembered for many years.
Hopefully no charges can be brought against them. If they clean it all up what have they hurt other than the RATS’ feelings. LOL!
They. Rock.
Anybody here seen one or any media mention yet?
Fox News seems to be ignoring it.
It is not visible from the ground around the Pepsi Center, but is probably visible from the west facing hotel rooms as A.A. Cunningham has noted.
It is shockingly visible from the west bound lanes of I-70 from probably Federal and west. This is north of downtown Denver.
I heard Mike Rosen (850 KOA)pooh-pooh the protest by calling them "anti-abortion zealots" and then mis-representing the sign by saying Destroys Newborn Children. That's some alliance we have with the 'Fiscal Conservatives'.
Clearly, the media is not taking a great interest in this so we in the alternative media must get the word out.

TS
Awesome!
I wish soeone could get the info to Hannity and his team right there in Denver and get them to cover it. Then many millions would see it.
Awesome! Thank God for dedicated men and women.
They were assigned a Guiness world record attempt number. I’m not sure what law they would be breaking...and, yes, they plan on leaving the place cleaner than it had been. Pretty impressive feat of backpacking the DNC “Sheets of Shame” in.
"Sometimes the truth hurts, Mike."
While Rosen is a fiscal conservative he is a social liberal; more of a libertarian than anything else. He's also admitted that he is an agnostic. Too bad that a man like him can be so smart in some areas, yet so ignorant in others. Pray for him.
Go pro lifers!
Mike Rosen is and has long been pro-abort. HE does not try to hide it at least. On other conservative issues he is pretty good, but misses the big one.
Would that the man read some C.S. Lewis. It would take that level of conversion, IMHO. I also think that Rosen has a bitter tone when discussing abortion. It's affected him personally at some point I think. Other than that I admire his intellect and his debating skills - one of the best.

TS
Thanks for the first-hand report!
This is easily the most effective protest of the DNC. Nothing close. Fewest people involved. No violence. No tear-gas. No blood in the streets.
It's a message the Democrats need to hear and heed. Especially the Christian Democrats.

TS
I was thinking the same thing, was even going to send him a copy of Mere Christianity.
Then I heard on one of his shows that he had read Mere Christianity and was “not persuaded” I guess he is not as intellectual as he thinks
However, I continue to pray for him. Which would undoubtly make him quite unhappy, but fortunately, there is nothing he can do about it!
Were he to be converted, he would be a dynamic voice for our side.

TS
Any idea how long they plan on keeping the sign up?
IMHO, Mike is a victim of his own pride - it is just simply hubris. There is not the slightest hint of intellectual curiosity as to how the world came to be, sin and its consequences. Childlike faith is something Mike will never grasp. It is so sad.

TS
Hmmm... you wouldn't be hinting that the presumptive Democratic candidate might have some relation to...nahhh... we couldn't and wouldn't make such an inference...
Ok - Obama MIGHT not be the Anti-Christ, but he is most certainly a "TYPE" of Anti-Christ. He is deceiving masses of people, stands for Satanic ideals, and has a cult of followers and literal worshippers.
After all... he is---- The One!

But we can be confident that a sign 1/4 that size with a catch phrase like "No war for Oil" displayed anywhere near the RNC convention would be headline-garnering news....
Isn’t the liberal media bias so predictible.
I just preached on Matthew Chapter 5 this past Sunday... the “Beatitudes”. The first one - “Blessed is the poor in spirit” represents the fundamental state we must all reach to truly accept the Salvation of Jesus Christ. Mike has not found is way to that “poor in spirit” condition yet. I just pray that it happens BEFORE he leaves this world.
That is an oxymoron if I have ever heard one. Although I might ought to clarify.... I personally do not believe that a PRACTICING and BELIEVING Christian can be a Democrat. But that definitely does not mean that the Republican party has a corner on the Christian population either...
Very Cool!
Hope the Nazis will allow them to leave it up there a few days.
There already millions of Americans who feel the shame that we have put to death by “elective” surgical abortion over 50,000,000 youngsters we pledged to protect in our Bill of Rights.
God bless all those involved who made and carried this awesome sign and thus lift our spirits to make sure the democrats get the message we will never vote for any candidate that encourages and legalizes public participation abortion on demand.

Thanks! Hadn’t seen it. But I love it!
Colorado pro-lifers are one of the few remaining focal points for uncompromised conservatism in America.
God bless ‘em.
I agree about your thought concerning Rosen and a personal experience with abortion. I watched as he broadcast outside of Coors Field on opening day this past April. A young woman, who at the time I thought might have been his daughter Jill, who was pregnant, came and stood beside him while he was broadcasting and he reached out and placed his hand gently on her stomach and then during the break gave her a big hug and a kiss. I thought, great, maybe he has finally come to the realization that that is indeed a baby in her womb and not simply a clump of cells and perhaps she is carrying his grandchild.
I may broach that subject with him if he answers the email I sent to him this morning and see if he'll open up about it.
Rumor has it that they began taking it down at noon. I drove up to Sheridan and I-70 - from whence it could be clearly seen at 1130 and the deconstruction was already taking place.
I'm not trying to be a smart aleck, but, You might want to reference Godwin's Law.

That's a touching story. It is quite plausible. We should start an informal prayer project centered on Rosen while avidly remembering Matthew 7:3 .

Whew. Thanks. Just making sure rule of law is working here./s/
