The Republican leadership has continued to demonstrate that they believe the Conservative base is just plain stupid and will follow the party regardless.
To me, the final insult would be if a Liberal is picked as the VP. Should that occur, I will only pick and choose Conservative candidates to vote for and support financially, regardless of party.
Keep it up...and watch Bob Barr get 10-15% of the Republican vote. But then....we don't matter...right?
