Howard Industries. Looks like they’ve got their hand in a little bit of everything:

From the link:A spokeswoman says more than 100 of those caught up in Monday's raid on Howard Industries were released based on humanitarian concerns, mostly because they have children.

Now illegals who cross with children have no worry of deportation.

Keep the pressure on Congress critters to make sure the immigration laws are strictly enforced!

The local paper (I grew up just outside of this little town)

The number of alleged illegal immigrants detained in a raid Monday at Howard Industries has nearly doubled, and could go higher, according to officials. They now say there are 595 suspected illegal immigrants.

“This is probably the largest single site target for law enforcement,” Immigration and Customs Enforcement Communications Director Barbara Gonzalez said.

We’ve got tons of Irish illegals here, we need to send them packing too. But starting with the illegal mexicans and arabs would be a good start.

Another AP Story: ICE: Nearly 600 detained in Mississippi plant raid

The usual liberal hand-wringing in the story, however, I liked the paragraph that described how fellow workers applauded as the illegals were led away.

And check out what the youth pastor had to say.

My response: “That’s because they ARE criminals!” (if guilty)

He said this....
“We have kids without dads and pregnant mothers who got their husbands taken away,” said Velez’s son, Robert, youth pastor at the church. “It was like a horror story. They got handled like they were criminals.”

I agree with you, my FRiend. They are!

Darn, there goes the secret donor to my social security account. Just an observation. SS will be going bankrupt a lot sooner if the borders are actually enforced.

Who will clip my shrubbery?

The minimal slap on the wrist being suggested for this company is sickening, when you consider all of the legal American workers who will lose a day’s pay (the way they are talking). Part of the fine, if the company is guilty, should be the requirement to reimburse all its legal employees for the missed day.

‘Darn, there goes the secret donor to my social security account.’

For every one that is paying into Social Security there are a dozen being paid cash with no deductions.

Kick them all out and put the employers in prison.
