it is a start! I’d like to see the picking up of these guys in all sanctuary cities in this country. Then I will take them seriously.

It seems like they're doing it bit by bit, perhaps to judge the publics reaction. The fact the American crowd was clapping as the illegals were being taken away should hopefully be a boost to up these raids!!!

All it takes is COURAGE to stand up to those who protect illegals and eventually they go home. If they are such hard working individuals as some like to claim, perhaps they will work harder to make their own country into something better and stop crossing the border for freebies.

Noticed the new taslking point from illegals: They are traumatized by the experience.

They always interview a mother with samll children.

Yeah, food stamps, taking jobs away from Americans, depressing wages, free medical care, free schooling for the kids.

The taxpayer is the one who is traumatized.

The clapping by the American workers shows the seething discontent that is just under the surface about these illegal immigrants. People have had it with them.

They built the internment facility out of that tree they cut down.

You are absolutely correct. I don't think I could handle being surrounded by illegals on a daily basis at work without causing some kind of stink. According to the article, it was a union member who bravely stood up and informed the authorities. Bravo to him.

About 100 of the 595 detained workers were released for humanitarian reasons, many of them mothers who were fitted with electronic monitoring bracelets and allowed to go home to their children, officials said.

They do actually seem to be taking some steps toward ending the usual cycle of catch and release. Not enough information to be sure, but it seems like they are taking steps in the right direction.

I wish I had more faith that these raids would continue after the election, and be expanded.

We can't deport the illegal aliens, the number of uninsured would drop dramatically and we'd lost the justification for socialized health care!

Democrats need for there to be lots of poor to justify their efforts. They can't solve the problems that they claim to fight against because doing so would destroy them.

The clapping by the American workers shows the seething discontent that is just under the surface about these illegal immigrants. People have had it with them.

The flood of illegal, low skill workers depresses wages. It makes it so easy to replace workers that any particular worker has little value to the company. You can't even bargain collectively if it isn't that difficult to replace most of the work force.

The article is worth reading....”I’m very traumatized because I don’t know if they are going to let my husband go and when I will see him,” Elizabeth Alegria said through a translator Tuesday as she returned to the Howard Industries parking lot to retrieve her sport utility vehicle.”

The wall is getting built, illegals are being sent home and illegals are going home voluntarily.

The only thing left to do is create the program for having immigrants come into the country as temporary workers.

I think the problem all along was the politicians wanted to put the cart before the horse. Not like no one has ever seen that one before.

And what of the Americans who now have kids w/out Dads and Moms and mothers w/out husbands, w/out sons and daughters that these illegals slaughtered, intentionally and unintentionally? What of the poverty stricken Americans whom we cannot help as much as we'd like because these illegal leeches and sucking the blood from our resources???......rant off.
