FReep POLL: Do you think Hillary Clinton's speech was effective....

Hillary Clinton took center stage at the Democratic National Convention last night to endorse Barack Obama for President and urge her supporters to follow suit.

Clinton's prime time appearance on the second day of the Denver convention was a part of a marked tone change from a soft set of opening day speakers to stronger direct attacks on GOP rival John McCain. But Clinton's key task of the night was to convince those of her supporters who are still reluctant to support Obama to get behind him for the strength of the Democratic Party.

Do you think Hillary Clinton's speech was effective in convincing her reluctant supporters to back Barack Obama?

Yes
No

For you old timers...KARN 920 used to broadcast to half the country. Great conservative radio here in Arkansas.

Anyways, from Hillary's "3rd home" state....make sure they vote against Nobama.

Poll on right (grey column)

The nays are currently at 96%.

I'm hoping that, with these increasingly strident attacks, McCain will grow a spine against those he has always reached out to over the last few years.

But it is probably a false hope.

No. I think it made her supporters love her even more. I thought she delivered a powerful performance. The Twin Cities tort was pretty funny. I dont buy it of course but it was delivered well just the same. She really is the only candidate I would fear up against Juan Mc.

No, but it was effective at putting me to sleep.

Do I want her supporters to vote for Obama? No. Do I think her speech was effective in convincing any of her supporters to vote for Obama? Yes. How effective we’ll know later, not now.

I think she overbit her lip again and again, like someone who is saying the expected thing, but doesn’t mean it — and who is deeply hurt and trying not to show it. That party is over — turn out the lights. They are about to score in the high 30s, low 40s in the popular vote.

Notice Hillary`s orange pantsuit?

Look like a GITMO jumpsuit?

Subliminal messsage?

It was a thinly disguised rallying cry to the Polyester Pantsuit Brigade to keep the hate alive for 4 more years.

Wait 'til 2012!

>>”No, but it was effective at putting me to sleep.”

Afterwards the reporterettes were talking about how “thrilling” and “scintillating” she had been and how thunderous the applause had been. I heard part of it, same old lame crap the Dems have been spewing for 50 years. She missed the boat. Where’s the Change? Besides in my ashtray, I mean.

She was dull as dirt. I expect old Bubba to be about the same.

It seemed to be effective for McCain if the latest polls are to be believed.

I thought that (using her past speeches as a comparison) this was one of her better efforts.

I think her supporters saw that she would be a much more effective candidate than the hood rat.

I think they are more pissed off now than before.

I think they are really going to be hot after Obozo gives his speech and they see what they’re stuck with.
