Wake up what? McCain is cutting Obama down to size on a dily basis. Obama's bump from the convention so far? Zero, nada, zip. Obama has been on a downward trajectory for quite a while now. I thought his numbers would go up significantly this week. So far they haven't. He may get a bump from his Zeus immitation but then again maybe not.

My opinion is simple, if McCain and Obama go in to the election booth tied in the polls, McCain will win going away. And I say that with my eyes wide open.

...why does that prospect leave me, instead of filled with shame if Obama wins, merely utterly empty? How have we reached this point?
