Former President Carter: McCain ‘Milking’ POW Experience (BARFAROOSKI!)
FOXNews.com ^ | August 28, 2008 | FOXNews Staff

Former President Jimmy Carter said Thursday that John McCain is “milking every possible drop of advantage” from his time as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, USA Today reported Thursday.

Carter focused on McCain’s interview earlier this month with author and pastor Rick Warren at his parish, the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif. McCain used every question, whether it was about religion, domestic or foreign affairs, to talk about his five-and-a-half years as a POW, Carter claimed.

“John McCain was able to weave in his experience in a Vietnam prison camp, no matter what the question was,” Carter, a 7-year Naval officer, told the paper. “It’s much better than talking about how he’s changed his total character between being a senator, a kind of a maverick at the time, and his acquiescence in the last few months with every kind of lobbyist pressure that the right wing Republicans have presented to him.”

Jimmy Carter doesn’t have one single thing he can milk, unless you count his legion of failures. Oh and, hating Jews beyond all reason.

I don’t remember any of the Dems criticizing Kerry for milking his short tour in Vietnam.

Not a good topic for Carter.

Historically, the price of milk peaked in 1979. (adjusted for inflation)

Carter was one of the worst presidents in our history - so any attacks coming out of him have zero credence.

I was in the service during his presidency and the saying we had back then was "the two things a naval officer needs to know with this president is Russian and lifeboat drill".

The only good thing to come out of his tenure was Ronald Reagan!

Did something speak?

I was through caring what Jimuh said or thought the day our hostages came home from Iran. Which also happened to be the day RR took over the White House from the biggest POS sissy boy who ever lived there.

He is not a peanut farmer he is an idiot. Here is a man who against a sitting President and the USA State Department wishes tried to negotiate a deal with terrorist. A man responsible for causing over 300 Americans to be held hostage in Iran without lifting a finger for over 400 days, created long gas lines and is only famous for being President because of Billy Beer and Peanut subsidizes and his has the audacity to question John McCains imprisonment as a prisoner of war. He and the Democrats really are an Obamanation to America and what we stand for.

And I seem to remember (when I was a kid) that Peanut milked every bit of his military experience as a Submarine nuclear officer while running against Ford (a World War II Navy veteran).

Hypocrite.

Proving once again that the wrong Carter brother died young.
What a miserable failure...and one who doesn’t have the sense to shut up and let us forget about his pathetic tenure.
