Do Democratic presidential campaign committees think we are all stupid or do they suffer from some sort of group delusion? In 2004 they tried to peddle a man who made claims about his military career that were easily proven to be lies (Christmas in Cambodia, outrageous charges about war crimes by his fellow soldiers) as a war hero reporting for duty.
This time around they are trying to take a man whose entire career has linked him with far-left anti-American characters, political agendas focused on redistribution of wealth, and racial spoils and pawn him off on us as a man who transcends race and partisanship.

Have you listened to the WGN interview with Stanley Kurtz yet? Among other things, he revealed where a lot of the $100 million or so, that was disbursed by the CAC, went. It went NOT to groups that were working legitmately to improve education, but to frivolous, ethnic-identity organizations (one I recall that received $5,000,000 was dedicated to getting students to celebrate “Juneteenth” instead of the 4th of July).
This waste of money is a good indication of how Obama would attempt to spend our Federal tax dollars—on ridiculous, far-left, subversive, ethnic-identity-cum-ethnic-grievance organizations and agitators.
YES (to both)
.
From the link:
...CAC funded a Juneteenth effort by the South Shore African Village Collaboration and a peace school but rejected proposals by the Chicago Algebra Project aimed at increasing student achievement and the District 5 Math Science Initiative which was trying to increase the math and science competence of Hispanic youngsters.
Both. And they're almost right. They obviously suffer from a group delusion, and millions of Americans--apparently--are stupid enough to follow them.
Does the DNEC think the American public is stupid ? You bet they do and thats their problem. With Palin as McCains choice now firmed up the chance to get conservatives into fed and state legislative post has opened up.My coverage of the WGN episode http://www.theusmat.com/ brings up something their news dept didn’t do
I hate to break it to you, but John Kerry did not have a military "career"....he served the equilivent of one enlistment. His career was in the US Senate. I am firmly convinced that he got a less than honorable discharge, and that's why he steadfastly refuses to release his service record.
Bottom line: He was good enough for a senate career, but not good enough for a military career. The proper term for his "contribution" would be his "military service".

The San Diego Sun has this comment:
“””””I want to explicitly say up front that I don’t think Obama’s association with Ayers is a big deal. Obama’s a Chicago pol. Ayers is a Chicago pol of a sort too, someone who was accepted in Democratic circles there despite his past.””””
The San Diego Sun may not care, but the American Public does.
I think you’re right. I think this matter especially re ankles because most average Americans are sick of what elitists like these two who send their kids to private school are doing to the public schools where they must send their kids.
“re ankles’ of course is a typo for “rankles”
Check out Kurtz most recent reporting on the misuse of a fund set up by a Reagan conservative to advance radical anti-American causes http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2105483/posts and what promise he holds for US once he introduces his new Presidential seal
