Are you serious about this being an issue? Modern breast pumps are fast and efficient and if she is breast feeding, I see no reason why she cannot do so as VP or even POTUS if need be. Many women in demanding jobs manage to breast feed these days. Other than the pump the only thing needed is refrigerated storage, all executives I know about have access to a fridge. Silly reason to be unhappy with her.
Palin: proving you can stay home, bake cookies, and kick ass all in the same lifetime.
Ever heard of a wet nurse?????????? Not that the Palin’s will use such, but I was just thinking about the possibility.
The real experience that means something is whether or not this woman’s feet are firmly rooted on the ground. Does she have strong principals that will guide her in decision-making? It looks like she does. I don’t know that much about her other than what I’ve read here on FR. Will she surround herself with advisors who are also firmly rooted? Obama’s principals don’t say much for him. He believes in killing babies born alive. That’s enough right there to disqualify him as CIC. But someone who values life more than convenience is another story.
I agree with you but maybe as she gets more exposure I will change my mind but as of now I am not thrilled with this PC BS
She was a Governor who has been ENGAGED in governing for the last two years. By comparison, Obama was a first term Senator for less than 200 days before he decided he was qualified for the Presidency, and for all intents and purposes left his seat vacant. And he didn't have 14 years of previous experience as an elected official before his election as Senator. Palin had served in several elected positions on her way to being a Governor.
If she were running for the office of President, you may have a point, but she'll learn the ropes alongside McCain as they serve together. McCain is there to handle the hard work, as the President usually is. She's not the first VP who didn't have extensive foreign policy experience, and she won't be the last.
Love conquers.
