I just read up on a article, maybe I read it wrong, but, I did read that part, once again, maybe I read it wrong, I thought it said, that she consulted with the lawyers and did not veto that bill and allowed same sex benefits.

Yes, that is correct, but it sounds like she did it based on the constitutionality of the bill...which is understandable.
