Where did you read that? And is it that they are just not enrolled in any party? Because I have no problem with that - I’m not enrolled in the R Party.

They are independent or undeclared so they can vote either way, no big deal.

I don’t see how that can be a negative in any way since they are not running and have no say in any decisions to be made.

Yes, they are listed as independents.

They could be voting straight R in general elections.

OTOH, it is odd that Todd is not R just to vote for her wife in the GOP primary. Unless Alaska has open primaries anyway, in which case this is truly a nothing story.
