Is the Mexican military chasing the drug dealers? Or helping them?

Which side do you think pays better?

To pursue an enemy that initiates the hostilities against a known border of long term position is playing into their hands. The attack might be meant to pull your unit across a border or into an ambush.
You have to call your own shots run your own ambushes/search and destroy missions according to your own reconnaissance/intelligence in the place and time of your choice.

That's what good intelligence and overwhelming force are for. I'm talking about Laos and the Yalu River, where restrictions handcuffed overt operations, not chasing indians into a blind canyon.

The protection of the American people from the invasion of foreign military rests squarely with the President of The United States.

The actual fighting is a military responsibility, certainly. The problem is that Washington will not admit this is happening. Nor will the MSM. Time for citizens to go out and bring back evidence of incursions to media sources that will listen: Drudge, et. al.

One potential source of hard information on this could be...amateur astronomers! They go out into the Arizona desert, to border sites like Vekol Valley, Sentinel, and Organ Pipe, armed with sophisticated camera gear and portable telescopes, looking for the darkest places. Now are dark-sky border places not the very routes illegals might also favor?

Intelligence is found in unexpected places.

I think you summed it up with ...

"The problem is that Washington will not admit this is happening. Nor will the MSM."

I don't know how bad it must get before action is taken.

I wish US well.
