Obama: “Now, that’s just something a typical white woman would say...”

Here is what CAN NOT be forgotten. Geraldine Ferraro was part of Hillary's campaign, but had to resign. Anybody remember WHY?

It's because she suggested that the only reason Obama was getting the treatment he was is because he is black.

There was outrage by Obama's campaign. Nobody actually said it wasn't true, but said it was a racist comment, so Ferraro had to be kicked to the side by Clinton.

Now then, what's the difference between Ferraro suggesting what she did and democrats suggesting that Palin was picked "only because she's a woman"?

I see NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER. Therefore, ANY democrat that insinuates that Palin was a cynical pick as a woman should be called sexist, and anybody in the Obama campaign that insinuates this should resign immediately.

The PUMA Hillary Clinton forums have pretty much morphed into the Palin/McCain forums now. Interesting stuff, including the big thread from yesterday.

McCain should invite her to the Convention. I think Obummer’s racist comment really ticked her off.

Pray for W/Palin and Our Troops

Geraldine Ferraro was attacked and destroyed by Obama in a completely vicious and detestable manner. Obama and the people behind Obama will get their comeuppance.

Women all over are energized by this.

Remember an energized vote counts the same as a lackadaisical vote. No difference.

They actually locked that forum for a while yesterday. It is back up now. There are some really shocking comments.’

Not a Washington insider like Biden and what Obama SAID he would do away with but which obviously he is NOT (another lie!)

(1) And they show several clips, such as Obama’s speech and then another clip of John McCain was making a joke on a TV Show about $5 million dollars, and Obama made it as if it was serious.
(2) Obama said he would pay all this thing he promised by not raising tax on anybody who earns below $250,000 with the taxcut is about to expire. It turned out that this would actually create more DEFICITS and TOTALL NOT DO-ABLE if he does as he promise all these things but only raise tax on $250,000 and up. Not DO-able!!

When I first started voting (24 years ago), I had said I would vote for the best person, not which party they belonged to. Somewhere along the way, my golden rule changed to towing the party line. I think it happened around the time Bill Clinton came to office. I was hooked and I was not going to vote any other way than Democrat. Now I see the party I loved so much, the party I worked so hard for, the party I gave so much money to, is not the same party. It has been taken over by ungrateful people who are willing to stomp on the people that lifted them up, just to get their way. That’s not the Democratic party I know.
Now the Republicans, yeah, they had become the party I was programmed to dislike - and George W Bush made it easy. But what I saw today was a change in the Republican party. I saw a Republican party leader show he actually wants my vote and is willing to do what it takes to get my vote. He’s even willing to take a huge risk to get my vote. A new concept - something I forgot about, since the Democratic party has taken me for granted for so many years. And after seeing that my own party was not willing to do anything to keep me, and even took the time to insult me as I slowly walked towards the door, I am relieved to leave. I call myself a “free agent” now. I tell people, these candidates will have to “woo” me now. I am not being taken for granted again. I’m not signing up for any party anytime soon. May the best person win. And as of today, John McCain is leading by two points.
So now I say, let the games begin...

I really like this one.

To quote Obama’s speech...

“Washington has been talking about our oil addiction for the last 30 years. And, by the way, John McCain has been there for 26 of them.”

Biden has been there for 36 of those years...

Yes...but in all likelihood, a much higher percentage of energized people vote than lackadaisical.

I’m not sure who Ferraro ran with. I think it was Mondale. Not that it matters. He is still a forgotten man. She is only remembered as the first woman vp candidate of a major party. Big deal. They are both big losers.

Take a look at the demrats record in selecting presidental candidates.

Kennedy won with the help of the corrupt Chicago machine. It ultimately made him an assassins target.

LBJ was a blustering egomaniac who was stymied when the world wouldn’t bend to his orders.

Carter masked his incompetence behind a pious front and won against bumbling Ford.

McGovern tried to capitalize on the anti-war bunch but lost because of bad timing.

Mondale banked on union bosses and picking a woman for vp. It all fizzled.

Dukaisis was a Mass. liberal who put on the wrong head gear.

Clinton won because Daddy Bush depended on his resume and Perot threw thing out of whack.

Gore was the mainstream media darling who assumed he was ordained for the office.

Kerry was a pompus ass who tried to claim war hero status.

Obama is another arrogant phony who portrays himself as the messiah who will change America. The mainstream media is feeling a thrill up their legs. Trouble is, he has a strong chance of winning because McCain is such poor repub-rat candidate.

No need to talk about their various candidates for the nomination. They have all been corrupt and crazy clowns who couldn’t run a candy store, much less the country.

This one is just too good:
“And by the way,for the watchers/lurkers,I too am a lifelong democrat that got thrown under the bus by my party of 22 yrs and by Barack Obama and his merry band of 12yr old followers.I will be voting McCain/Palin and am damn proud to do so!!!! It is not “God Damn America” it has become “God Damn the Democrats, for they know not what they did”.Take that Nancy and Howard.”

From PUMA:

Ken in IL wrote:

“What McCain & Palin have in common with Hillary is that they get things done for the electorate. We may not get all we want, but we will get some. Remember Bill Clintons candidates X & Y quote.

Biden will have influence only if Barky lets him.”

Barky? LOL: I shudder to think what that sobriquet might mean.

Then she felt compelled to say that she doesn't always vote Democrat, and then said she once voted for Eisenhower.

If Ferraro wouldn't vote for Stevenson how could she vote for Obama?

it’s not good ol boy anymore

it’s good ol comrade or good ol homey

the serious left was always sorta rogueish about chicks

Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rueben, Mark Rudd, Huey Newton, Eldridge Cleaver, Bill Ayers

all paved the road to radicalism with drugs, violence and vaginas

just read the tales of orgies amongst the Freedom Riders, SDS, SNVCC, and of course the Weathermen and SLA

it’s like Beaver Hunt in Hustler magazine

one excerpt is how the Weathermen gang banged all the way from New York to Chicago for Days of Rage

or Bill Ayers pimping his grilfriend out to black panther gangbangs to prove she wasn’t racist

or the SLA raping Patty Hearst.

it goes on and on....it was all about the “nookie” for many of these doped up radicals

I know....

If the Empty Suit wins, Hillary would not be able to seek the Democratic party's nomination until 2016 - at which time she will be almost as old as McCain is now.

Sure she wouldn't challenge him in 2012? Or does some bylaw exist forbidding as much.

Sure she {Hillary} wouldn't challenge him {Obama} in 2012?

It's not impossible, Lard Ass {Teddy Kennedy} ran against The Peanut Man {Jimmy Carter} in the 1980 primary. However, an incumbent President controls the party machinery and therefore is almost impossible to beat.

On the other hand, if a President turns out to be an incompetent boob .... Hey, you are right, she will challenge him in 2012.

Ah yes, Walter Mondale, the Senator who tried to kill the Apollo moon program (Thank you Tom Hanks for letting us know about Mondale in "From the Earth to the Moon").
