Geraldine Ferraro, the first Vice-Presidential candidate of a major political party (Dems ‘84) feels that Sarah Palin’s candidacy will draw a lot of Hillary’s supporters who feel that Dean, Obama and the Media gave Hillary (and women) a raw deal in this election cycle to support the McCain/Palin ticket.. I heard her comments on Hugh Hewitt’s show yesterday. I said to my wife “Wow, Geraldine sounds pissed enough [about the treatment of Hillary by the Obama cult] to vote for McCain”

It sounds as though some Hillary supporters have finally become tired of the DNC’s “good old boy” network. Good for them.

I guess karma is really a bitch.

Asked for a response, Barack Obama told Ferraro “there, there, sweetie. Now, iron my shirt!”

She's right.

Women all over are energized by this. I have read comments from life-long democratic women who are saying that this election cycle has finally awakened them to how they have been used by the democrats who are hypocritical and how they now see with Palin, Rice, and so many other examples how it is the Republicans who have promoted women all along.

In addition (and because of it among other things), Obama's big night in the limelight was relegated to the obscurity it deserves, and his own VP pick of Biden (for change) was trumped and checkmated.

Now their skeletons are "coming home to roost" and they can't get themselves untangled from them because the skeletons are they themselves, and all of their long time, willful associations.

My first comment after hearing of McCain’s selection was that if he did this to attract Hillary supporters, he had really missed the boat. But I have heard from a number of Hillary gals who have determined they are going to vote for the McCain-Palin ticket.

I saw her on H&C yesterday. She still said she wouldn't vote for Palin because she (Ferraro) is a Democrat. Then she felt compelled to say that she doesn't always vote Democrat, and then said she once voted for Eisenhower.

There are two kinds of feminists:
  1. People who believe in empowering women.
  2. People who believe that feminism primarily means killing babies.
McCain is in group 1.

Obama is in group 2.

"Now their skeletons are "coming home to roost""

LOL! I want to thank you for the best laugh I've had all day. The mental picture created by that statement (at least in my warped imagination) is priceless!

How many? Most of them are simply pro-death...

Of course Hillary and Dean hate each other.
The Clintons didn’t want the leadeership of the DNC taken away from the former president and placed in the hands of Dean.
Dean on the other hand wanted to get the Clintons out of the way.

True, however McCain’s weak stance on abortion will allow these Hillary supporters to hold their nose and vote for McCain because of Palin, just as we Conservatives can now do.

The odd thing is - we are both on the same page - Hillary PUMAs and Republican Conservatives are going to vote for McCain because of Palin. How did this guy get nominated?

Well, regardless, since Palin was announced I donated and I will vote for McCain.

They’re pro-death because they think it’s part of being feminist. Maybe Palin can show some of them another way.

This could really be a quandary for the dedicated Hillarystas. Either way, Hillary will be the big loser.

If Obama wins, Hillary would not be able to seek the Democratic party's nomination until 2016 - at which time she will be almost as old as McCain is now.

If McCain wins, then Sarah Palin would be a strong Republican candidate in 2012.

This is further proof of the shallow voting mentality of the Dems.

They support the candidate only because of color or gender......
