I'm hoping this isn't a plan (claiming he's got a new medical problem)--to replace him with Hillary on the ticket!
Maybe this is Obama's revenge on Biden for the "articulate and clean" remark: Expose the buffoon as the alcoholic that he is (and then recruit Hillary.)
