Mankind sees the world in stereoscopic vision, if you know where your nose is you can put five in the ten ring.

True enough, and that's how I fire handgun (right-handed, by the way.) Rifle, or shotgun, fired from the shoulder, another story, dependant on the situation,. and distance. Short range? The style of "snap shooting" I learned in the Army, more than thirty years ago. Longer range, more dilberate shot? Aimed, from prone, if available, left handed, left eye only. I do just fine with any of these three methods, each in the proper circumstance...

Think of this, you are walking down a trail, and a gook pops out of a hole. How do you shoot?

The gook is 5 meters off and he is going to do your ass, where is your point of aim. Most of the situations we run into in life are not this clear cut.

Times up, the correct answer is shoot for the belly button and move up.

The are different techniques for different situations, in some situations such as Moose stew , very good tenderloin is best, left eye, right eye is good. I could be an NRA instructor for years , but in a combat situation time and intent count.
