Are PUMAs racist? The Washington Post's Colbert I. King seems to suggest so in his column of today, "A Suicidal Choice for Clinton Supporters." King delivers a laundry list of reasons why, in his opinion, it makes no sense for Hillary fans to support McCain. Since there is apparently no rational justification for good Dems to desert Obama, by process of elimination he suggests that a base motivation is in play. Here's King's punch line [emphasis added]:
"So what's drawing Hillary Clinton's die-hard fans to John McCain? Is the attraction only skin-deep?

WaPo columnist suggests PUMAs are racist ping to Today show list.
Hmmmmm, that’s a surprise...NOT
Sure, that’ll win them over to your side. Call them racist.
Idiots. Don’t they realize that they *already* have the white-guilt vote locked up?
I'm not voting for him... call me a racist at your peril.
I agree 100%. If you don’t vote for McCain / Palin, you are prejudiced against the senior citizens and women. If you don’t vote for Obama / Biden, you are prejudiced against self-important, bloviating liberals.
The final refuge of a denied or prosecuted black - is the race card.
“I wasn’t elected, or I was arrested because I’m black.”
“America is still a racist society”....
As a matter of fact, I am now 100% convinced America IS a racist society -— since observing that >95% of America’s blacks vote on the basis of skin color and NOT character as MLK Jr. dreamed would be the case....
I’m not totally clear on this. Obama is bi-racial (everyone seems to forget this) so are the PUMA’s racist towards blacks or whites? (obvious sarcasm)
The PUMA’s are looking at Palin vs Hillary in 2012. That isn’t racist. That’s exciting.
“As a matter of fact, I am now 100% convinced America IS a racist society - since observing that >95% of Americas blacks vote on the basis of skin color and NOT character as MLK Jr. dreamed would be the case....”
Exactly! All if not most black-Americans will vote for Obama simply because of his skin color and they can care less about what he stands for.
But that’s not racist to these people.
Yeah, just like most black people still believe OJ was innocent regardless of his skin color and the skin color of his victims.
What does the acronym ‘PUMA’ stand for?
Democrats are going to cry that anyone who doesn’t support Obama is a racist. Yawn... Liberals have played the racism card so often that being called a racist no longer has the sting it once had.
Yeah, just like most black people still believe OJ was innocent regardless of his skin color and the skin color of his victims."
I couldn't put my finger on it, but this is it! This is a replay of the OJ trial and aftermath, now with many blacks blindly supporting Obama due to his skin color. If Obama were to win, I have no doubt that we'll see the same tableau of blacks loudly celebrating in the streets.
Party Unity My A—
Well...I think Colbert King is sexist. So THERE!
Somebody should run over and post this on the Hillary boards and see what their reaction is.
Whats a PUMA?
???
If Pumas are racist, what about Adidas?
“If Obama were to win, I have no doubt that we’ll see the same tableau of blacks loudly celebrating in the streets.”
And possibly a riot or two if he loses.
