A Reform Ticket
The Wall Street Journal ^ | August 30, 2008 | Editorial

For starters, we'd say Governor Palin's credentials as an agent of reform exceed Barack Obama's. Mr. Obama rose through the Chicago Democratic machine without a peep of push-back. Alaska's politics are deeply inbred and backed by energy-industry money. Mr. Obama slid past the kind of forces that Mrs. Palin took head on. This is one reason her selection -- despite its campaign risks -- seems to have been so well received by Republicans yesterday. They are looking for a new generation of leaders.

Palin has nearly twice as many years in elective office as Obama. She was solving problems of road building, municipal utilities, enviro-friendly sewage disposal while Obama was voting "present" in the Illinois Senate.

Palin was in the Iraq theater of operations to check up on Alaskan national guard troops in Kuwait and she was at the bedside of wounded G.I.s in Germany while Obama only worked out at the gym.

Palin has negotiated internationl natural gas contracts for Alaska while Obama never called a meeting of his Senate Subcommittee on Europe before running for Pres.

A list of her accomplishments is a 1000 times longer than Obama.

Sarah Palin has more credentials to be President of the U.S. than the Democratic front runner.

The poor hungover Demohacks were awakened from their champagne and salmon mousse induced slumber Saturday morning by their worst nightmare, courtesy of John McCain. A no-nonsense, cankle-less, female who actually knows where salmon mousse comes from. And for the first time in my adult life I'm REALLY proud of my Republican party! (:^o)

If she can survive this gantlet, Governor Palin could help Mr. McCain with some liabilities of his own

That would only be true if he decided suddenly to reverse the last twenty years of repeatedly voting with the socialist Democrats. That is unlikely to happen considering The GOP just adopted a plank on their platform to include the fallacy of human induced global warming. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2071720/posts

"Palin has nearly twice as many years in elective office as Obama. She was solving problems of road building, municipal utilities, enviro-friendly sewage disposal while Obama was voting "present" in the Illinois Senate.

Yet the RATS have the NERVE to question her qualifications for the job. She is infinately more qualified than Obama, who has basically NO experience whatsoever other than ONE YEAR sitting in a back corner as a Jr. Senator. Prior to that, he spend time as a "community organizer", another name for a public whiner, inspired by a circle of traitorous marxist America hating friends such as Ayers, and racist America haters like "Reverend" Wright.

Groups like the Black Panthers are those which inspire Obama and form the framework of the type of "change" he wants to see in America. One only needs to read any of Rev. Wrights racist rants and the Black Panthers opening "constitution" to learn of the kind of "change" Obama wants to see in the USA.

On a side note - I was thinking yesterday how every single picture of her is REAL, unlike Kerry’s from last time around.

maybe what the dems are reallly saying is that obama would die in office and Biden would take over and he would be the experienced CinC. But this is a very weird thing for them to hope for.

The human-induced global warming thing is still a problem. Here’s an interesting quote by a prominent scientist:

“for how many years must the planet cool before we begin to understand — we politicians and scientists— that the planet is not warming? For how many years must cooling go on?” the scientist asked “

http://www.rightsidenews.com/200808191759/energy-and-environment/global-warming-skeptics-prominently-featured-at-international-scientific-meeting.html

The planet has been cooling for 7 years and counting...

Both of Obama’s excellent adventures, the housing projects and the Annenberg grants to improve public schools, were disasters. How is he qualified to run this economy?
