Alaska-
In light of recent media reports attempting to connect Republican VP nominee Gov. Sarah Palin with controversial historian and Nazi sympathizer Pat Buchanan, VIN News has learned that the Alaska governor has demonstrated strong support for Alaskas Jewish community.
In particular, Gov. Palin signed a resolution in June of 2008 recognizing Israels 60th anniversary and the unique relationship between Alaska and the Jewish State, especially the fact that Alaska Airlines played a critical role in the rescue of 40,000 Yemenite Jews in 1948 and 1949.
Chabad of Anchorages Rabbi Yosef Greenberg had this to tell VIN News: Gov. Palin signed this resolution in the presence of Alaskas Jewish community leaders. This bill was orchestrated by members of the Alaska Legislation and heavily supported by Speaker of the House, Representative John Harris
Gov. Palin has established a great relationship with the Jewish community over the years and has attended several of our Jewish cultural gala events. Gov. Palin also had plans to visit Israel with members of the Jewish community, however, for technical reason, the visit has not occurred yet. I was personally impressed by Gov. Palins remarks of hope and faith when she gave birth to a child with special needs. We all feel that the Governor is a remarkable, energetic, and good person.
Having said that I like to reiterate that As a Lubavitcher rabbi, I would like to note that we do not endorse any political candidate
WHAT IS ABSURD IS THAT SARAH PALIN WORE A BUTTON ONE TIME AND BARACK OBAMA SAT IN A CHURCH OF AN ANTI-SEMITIC, ANTI-ISRAEL PREACHER AND ABSORBED HIS TEACHINGS FOR OVER 20 YEARS, SAID BARDASH, ADDING, I LEAVE IT TO THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE VOTER TO DETERMINE WHO HAS A MORE TROUBLING RECORD.
Ping!
Let us enjoy watching the frothing mad-dogs of the left flop around like fish on the beach. Like rabid junk yard dogs they behave, lashing out with their baseless and pathetic anti-conservative tripe.
Let it all be a lesson to America about what these frauds are all about...
What is crazy for the Obamanators (have they started to realize it yet??) is that Wexler’s whole line of attack legitimates further aggressive inquiries and criticisms into Obama’s radical associations!!!
Their only hope was to argue “these are irrelevant matters, let’s move on” — but if Wexler, a leading Democrat attack dog, is out in front saying it is legitimate and relevant to attack Governor Palin for serving as a Mayor welcoming a presidential candidate to her city, then of course it is legitimate and relevant to examine all of Obama’s far more lasting and far more voluntary relationships with a whole host of leftist and Nation of Islam fanatics, etc. etc.
Thanks, Wexler, we will trash your worthless attack and then turn with renewed energy to exposing all of your Obamamessiah’s connections with fanatics, anti-semites, and terrorists.
Yes, suddenly this looks like a very interesting (rather than frightening) election. The left is imploding - showing themselves in their true colours.
Great! And kudos to McCain and his campaign who really have upped their game the last couple of weeks.
If she visits Israel as a VP candidate, Israel will give the kind of reception that was missing during Obama’s visit. I can feel it.
Yes, it’s fantastic isn’t it?
Experience - that was certainly a road the Obamiacs didn’t want to go.
Extremism - another sore, sore, sore point with Obama.
And then of course all the PUMAs.
Gov Sarah Palin; an inspired choice by McCain.
Mazel Tov!!! Whoo hoo!!!
They pointed out that during her term as governor, Palin met with David Akov, Israels Consul General for the Pacific Northwest Region of the US.
The two reportedly discussed cooperation between Israel and Alaska on such issues as counter-terrorism initiatives. During the meeting Akov invited Palin to his home country, which she said she would like to visit, and the governor told the diplomat that her states residents love Israel.
Wexler finds Palin outrageous while ignoring Obama’s associations.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
