Bikers come in all shapes and sizes. Some are rich and some are poor. Sometimes they have their differences one another. But the one thing that unites all bikers everywhere into a single brotherhood is their deep and abiding love for community organizers.
Just stating the facts....:)
[sadly, I’m so small that I have to stand on my seat to ‘get up in faces’]....;-D
He made “The River” and then jumped the shark.
[but “Nebraska” was tolerable if not remarkable]
Smart @ss.....LOL!
Hey Brucie... don’t you have something better to do like go blow $500,000 on a show/jump horse for your daughter or something?
Are they going to have a flag burning session from now on? Maybe I'll buy a Honda.
Harley is becoming “multinational”.
The premier American made bike now has mostly Chinese parts, the Buell is a German design and their new “trikes” will be made by a Canadian company but assembled *here* so that they can still claim to be “Made in the USA”.
When people shrieked about the Canadian collaboration, Lehman [the CA trike manufacturer] built a token brick & mortar in SD just to say they have a USA “presence”.
It used to be all about taking pride in an all-American ride....now it’s pure profit.
They’ve gotten into the “custom choppers” market because most bikers take their new Harley home and start modifying it anyway.
There’s an old saying...”if you bought it off the showroom floor “custom”, then it ain’t.
Honda actually now uses more US made parts.
Next year, they’ll probably have REM whining about “social injustices” onstage.
All of that can sure make a biker feel conflicted....:-\
I always found Springsteen to be boring, bland music at best...
Bored to tears... Springsteen is as crappy as Bon Jovi...
Give me something like Johnny Cash or Judas Priest.
Yeah, why didn't they do some REAL biker music like Motorhead, ZZ Top or Judas Priest???

SFD, I am on the same page re Springsteamer...I still get a kick when my Boomer Lib friends pay $80-100 to go to his concert and stand around for 3 hours listening to his crappy music and then complain about it...what a bunch of fools.
Yep, Milton Brown and His Musical Brownies, Western Swing 1930’s
http://thompsonian.info/brownies.html
The Brownies played their spirited, jazzy brand of Western Swing with hilarity and virtuosity. To get an idea of their sound, think of Bob Wills with a hearty dose of Django Reinhardt and Cab Calloway - and a dash of electric steel guitar for good measure!
.
And Blind Willie Johnson are a couple of my favorites

No Speinsteen, No Jovi (Speinsteen, must be the J Elder in me)
“bikers are too civilized, I was sure they were going to make him eat his guitar.”
LOL!! Or at least hit him with empty beer bottles while exiting with the middle finger held high!
that’s great, looks like he’s playing an older DanElectro. There was a Metal band back in the 80’s Slave Raider, that also had a Lady on bass

Don’t know how political they were, but President Reagan says we are able to deliver anywhere, in reference to the Nuclear bombs presented in the video
Tell it.
And they have cowbell.
Springsteen was good when he was singing about the working man. The working man don’t give a crap about wiretaps. He wants to come home, wash up and go racing in the streets.
