Bristol Palin and Sarah Palin pregnancy scandal? Rumors began circulating online Friday about whether Governor Sarah Palin or her daughter Bristol is actually young Trig's mother.
The risk of reporting rumor as news without doing research and your homework for an article, is an embarrassment when the facts eventually come to light.
The rumors began with a popular liberal website, Daily KoS, and certain media outlets reported on them and was even reported here at tPC.
Conservative activists have been pleased Republican presidential hopeful John McCain has tapped Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, observers say.
The Politico reported that the conservative base of the GOP has been reinvigorated given that McCain chose a solidly anti-abortion, pro-gun candidate. For some conservatives, Palin's nomination has spurred them to work for McCain, for whom the party base has, until recently, offered only lukewarm support.
And that might be the very reason why this story has surfaced.
The reports focused on photos of Republican vice presidential running mate, Sarah Palin, showing that she didn't appear to be really pregnant, then the story followed with supposed "proof" that the baby was her daughter's, Bristol Palin. Kos "proved" Bristol had missed time at school and then they produced pictures of her daughter which they claimed showed her to be "pregnant."
The photo that KoS used and claimed was taken on March 9, 2008, was taken in Wasilla, Alaska in 2006.
No matter how you do the math, there just isn't any way a girl could be pregnant from 2006 to April of 2008.
Keep in mind that secular progressives have simply fabricated this for a lack of any real dirt. The Daily KoS and those that have reported on the speculated rumor as truth, without doing their homework and just repeating the rumor, have all now maligned a 17 year old girl and her mother who is the vice presidential running mate on the Republican ticket.
These people have no shame.
Bristol is not a Public person. She should have a lawyer sue these sites and shut them down. Mrs. Oil money Huffington has enough money from her divorce to pay her millions.

If I’m not mistaken, this rumor was traced back to Obama and one of his websites as the original source.
The rumor was totally debunked when a fellow passenger at the Anchorage airport ran across Governor Palin and said Governor Palin was clearly pregnant at the time.
Which reminds me, Nancy Pelosi, Governor Palin sold the state jet on eBay for two plus million dollars, saying she would use commercial flights. That alone separates Governor Palin from those Democrats who believe they are entitled to special treatment and special perks of their office.
The Obama and Democrat attack machine that uses the politics of personal destruction will have more attempts in the future, but unlike President Bush, these are going to be countered effectively as fast as they come out.
Considering they aren't worth more than cow dung, I'd settle for just shutting them down.
I seriously agree that some legal action is warranted.
If nObama can go to the DoJ over a legitimate ad, then the Palin family can sue over a slander.

It took effort on my part to not tell the perp that I'd pay good money to see Todd Palin smash his face. As it is, I called him a coward for picking on a teenage girl, called him a liar, and pointed out that he was setting the site up for a libel suit. Then I emailed the mod and told him to ban the jerk, with the same note about the possibility of a libel suit. (The mention of legal action gets people's attention.)

Daily Kos is the National Enquirer of political websites. Palin’s daughter should sue the ass off them.
She is a fit and trim woman, but is successfully minimizing her look of pregnancy.
Right now - a prominent diary on the Kos site discusses if McCain was staring at Palin’s “ass” while twrling his wedding ring AND mocks his POW experience in the title.

She is dressing to conceal, but her face and hands clearly show the pregancy weight--any woman who has been pregnant will vouch for that. Notice that Sarah is always dressed in dark colors in every pregnant picture...you can tell she understands fashion basics as dark colors are thinning....contrast that to recent campaigning with McCain you can see white blouses—the classic elegant look she likely prefers.
She should sue Michael Moore's ass too.

Every VP serves the president. Governor Palin will not be “cleaning” any house without the express direction and approval from John McCain. In Alaska, Republican politicians were clearly corrupt. In DC, the major corruption belongs to the Democrats. But corruption is corruption and she would certainly not give cover to either.
As to the future, assuming Sarah Palin weathers the storm she is causing in the Democrat ranks and attack machine, I believe we are seeing someone who will be the first woman president in 2012 or 2016.
Really despicable how the KOS/DU/DEMS are treating Palin, especially on a personal level. I thought they were the party of breaking the glass ceiling and for womens rights.
Now all they do is question her downs syndrome pregnancy, and can she be a working mom.
I think what really scares them about this pregnancy is that it shows you don’t have to have an abortion just because it is inconvenient or the baby isn’t “perfect”.
And you know that McCain or NRLC or some other 527 is going to run ads on the BAIPA, Jill Stanek and the down syndrome abortion baby who lived, and then Obama’s infanticide positions. That is what terrifies the democrats. This is a killer for them this fall and they know it.

If you saw it, on the This Week Sunday program yesterday, Sam Donaldson make some degrading comment on Sarah and Todd Palin’s baby. George Will got livid, explained that he too has a Down Syndrome child and I thought Will was going to jump across the table at Donaldson. Will just verbally nailed Sam Donaldson and Donaldson basically shut up for the rest of the program. I have never seen George Will that mad, and it showed. There is a Glen Beck video out too, as he sides with Sarah Palin since Beck and his wife have a Down Syndrome child.
This issue goes to the heart of pro-abortion versus pro-life and the Democrats are showing just how callous and desperate they are over it.
Obama, Biden and the Democrats do nothing but expose their real agendas for America as they use attack machine politics of personal destruction on this issue. It will come back to haunt them, IMHO.
The children of candidates are off limits. Period. They didn’t choose to be in spotlight. Conservatives were extremely respectful of Chelsea Clinton’s privacy - the same with Barack Obama’s daughters.
But the left has been unmerciful to the Bush daughters, and now this! They remind me of a group of kids when I went to summer camp as a child - always picking on anyone that wasn’t part of their little clique. They were immature bullies and sore losers.
It’s pathetic - I do hope these sites get their a$$es sued out of business. If this is the worst they can come up with.......well, no wonder they’re scared out of their wits. They know they have lost the election unless they can throw some $hit & get it to stick before election day - and of course they will have the media’s glad help to enable them.
This is what always frustrated me with George W. Bush. He would be silent in the face of these attacks, thinking they would just go away. But a large number of voters believe this kind of stuff because they are too lazy to check it out themselves. McCain & Palin need to aggressively go after these attacks & put these small-minded losers in their place & they need to do it so the American people can see the kind of sleaze the left engages in. They need to pin it on them & not let go!
I am now very excited - I think it is clear that the leftists know they are going to lose this one.
