Many nice pics I haven’t seen before.

Sarah started out cute as a button and just got better every year!!

America was built by men, women and families like the Palins.

Not by the latte sipping, snarky, lefty newsreaders passing judgement on them and the world from their glass capsules floating in the smog.

Or maybe they were worried about the bandwidth and the stress on their server, and the webmaster ordered the graphics people to compactify all of the images so that the server wouldn't crash & the telecomm line wouldn't go up in flames.

But if you look at the ADN version and the NY Times version side by side, that doesn't look like the normal effects of compactification - it looks more like some intentional blurring was added to [purposely] degrade the quality of the photo.
