It happens. It doesn’t take away the fact that Sarah Palin was a brilliant choice as VP. If anything, it may make the ticket more palatable to many.
There’s another group that might be interested and heartened by this choice is the parents and family members of disabled people! There are women who bear, and families who adopt babies with Down’s Syndrome who would feel she’d understand what they go through!
