I agree...there is no way to spin this as a “good thing.”

"Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support," the Palins said. What would Obama do?

I disagree. From the baby's point of view, it is definitely a good thing that Bristol decided to keep him/her instead of 'conveniently' murdering her unborn child!! :*)

I agree...there is no way to spin this as a good thing. Doesn't sound like anyone is spinning it as good or bad. It is what it is and is mostly irrelevant. No spin required. I'm sure the media will try to make it out to be a huge deal - but that's because they are disparate to find anything that can to do political harm to Gov Palin. I expect the dregs of society, people like Bill Maher, will have some crude jokes and snide comments to make, but that just reflects on who they are as people.
