Good point. If Palin’s daughter had had an abortion, it would have destroyed Palin, as well as a child. But the family is doing exactly what you said: although they didn't choose this, they are showing how they LIVE THEIR VALUES.

It will be a constant, stinging reminder to people what Obama said about a baby being punishment to watch the grandchild be born and grow up - hopefully in the McCain administration!

A substantial percentage of us came into the world this way. (And will this increase the pressure on Obama to come clean about the circumstances of his birth?) If the election turns on this, then America is in worse trouble than I thought.

Someone like Obama should not be getting more than 10% of the vote.

It's how this issue will play to the general public that will be important in a close election. It may be fine and well with conservatives that she keeps the baby and marries the lad but IT'S HOW IT PLAYS IN THE GENERAL MEDIA that's important. The Democrats will use this like you will not believe. This will be a close election and this REALLY, REALLY hurts!
