Newsweek Exclusive: Top Clinton Supporter John Coale Endorses McCain

John Coale, a prominent Washington lawyer, husband of Fox TV host Greta Van Susteren and a supporter of Sen. Hillary Clinton, announced today that he was supporting John McCain for president. Coale, who traveled with Sen. Clinton, President Clinton and her family through out the primary season, complained of sexism, and said the Democratic Party is "being taken over by the moveon.org types" in an exclusive interview with Newsweek.com's Tammy Haddad. He said he tried to prevent Clinton's brother, Tony Rodham, from attending an August 18th meeting in Scranton, Pa. with McCain campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina. "I urged him not to go and told him it would embarrass his sister, but he has a mind of his own." Coale says Mr. Rodham asked Ms. Fiorina "about McCain's Supreme Court picks."

awesome!!! I kept hearing Greta talking about disaffected Hillary supporters, the email she gets.
I like Greta, she has kept her politics out of the picture.

I wonder of the attacks on Palin’s family had anything to do with this.

I was just at the DU and there are a few posts that suggest they are catching on that they are digging their own grave.

Expect more of the same. I am telling you I am so upset about how the Liberals first treated Hillary and now Sarah and her daughter. How dare they think they are the party for women. Such hypocrites!!!!!!

I am livid and disgusted.

eeewww

Just imagine Tony Rodham, brother of Hillary, ex son in law of Babs Boxer, figuring a way to make himself money by trading on his connections in the US Supreme Court nomination process. Eeeeewwww

Much less Hillary ever being appointed to the US Supreme Court. She must have her eyes on Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s seat.

I think the attacks on Palin & family has something to do with this backlash. That and they genuinely dont like Obama.

Many women from both sides of the aisle have come out in support of Sarah Palin even before the Kos attacks started.

“Democratic Party is “being taken over by the moveon.org types”

That’s what I’m seeing. I’m nominally a libertarian, I have zero interest in wedding religion to government but something has gone very wrong with the liberals via Obama.

Clinton wrecks his party, Bush wrecks his party and now I can’t make heads or tails of what’s happening. Obama is clearly manufactured but nobody speaks a word about it and the police have gone total Fascist in St Paul.

Have we entered the post-Weimar period?

We need to keep pounding away at that message. It is having an impact.

If we can peel away just a few more RATs and Indies we can win this thing.

If the scrotum heads at Kos and DU continue attacking Governor Palin and her daughter, these defections will be just the beginning.

here is a post on PUMA :

One hopes that all those pundits are happy now. They have thoroughly embarrassed a 17 year old kid.

What happened to those angry threats by Obama warning everyone to Lay Off My Family?

Apparently, these slimeballs will not be happy until they destroy every female past child-bearing age.

Perhaps one of John McCain’s daughters has a library book overdue, and they can turn their attention to her

I did not see it. What though I heard is she would not say if she is voting for Obama, and I took that as a tacit defection.

Remember Obama threw her under the Bus way back in March of this year.
