People acting righteously always angers the wicked. This is what we’re seeing.

And, if you have any conversations on this, make sure to ask the question

“what’s morally superior, the girl getting married, having the child, and having the full support of her family, or the attitude of ‘wouldn’t want her to be punished with a baby’?”

A hardcore pro-abort will say they believe there’s no moral question involved, but they’d be lying, they know better.

Unfortunately most families around me couldn't offer their full support to much other than a case of beer, a carton of smokes, and garnished wages for three kids from three women.

Palin illustrates to the "me society" that taking the easy way out is not the way to be. That scares and/or offends most. Bill Clinton made them feel good about themselves. Adultery, boozing, associating with bad people, and just giving in to every desire was just fine if you are a Clinton fan.
