Well, there’s at least 9 electoral votes.

Unfortunately here in Idaho you could put up a gumby doll registered as Republican and still win on the Republican ticket.

People in Idaho appreciate a man with a wide stance.

Sorry, couldn’t resist. :)

Cheer up! Don't be so grumpy. Things could be a lot worse considering your alternatives.

Well, it’s the other 54 states that worry me.

The unfortunate part is that liberal Democrats are happy to claim membership in the Republican party to win an election in Idaho. Idaho voters need to be more discerning. I would love to vote for Rex Rammel, but that would probably assure Larocco a win. Rammel simply isn't trying hard enough.

Actually this part does cheer me up:

Even among Democrats, 35% say they would vote for McCain.

Wasn’t the Obama campaign crowing several months back about the inroads they made in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming?

Guess that didn’t pan out - lol.

Thank you for that, but I’m not real worried about Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming.

Yeah, but everyone knows that people in Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah are all racists anywise!

People in fly-over country don’t like charlatans, I am surprised there were any poll votes for BO.

Don’t let the national polls fool you. The fact that Obama’s gone from 45 to 50 in states he was already carrying, like California doesn’t translate to an electoral college win.

Obama needs to take a flyover state or two or he will lose the same way Gore and Kerry did.

It comes with the territory. There are still a few that can sit astride a horse and feel comfortable for 12-14 hours a day.

Ah... youth. Why is it wasted on the young?

Ohio (20) 43.3 44.5 McCain +1.2 Toss Up

Florida (27) 43.2 46.3 McCain +3.1 Toss Up

Virginia (13) 46.0 46.0 Tie Toss Up

Michigan (17) 46.0 41.7 Obama +4.3 Toss Up

Colorado (9) 45.2 44.8 Obama +0.4 Toss Up
