Resume Of A Terrorist: Obama's Buddy Ayers by Jim Kouri

Published: Sep 2, 2008

While the likes of the New York Times, Washington Post, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and other news organizations have their reporters digging for dirt on Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin, John McCain's choice for vice president, their savior-in-waiting Barack Obama is getting a free ride at the expense of truth.

It's no secret that the denizens of America's newsrooms want Obama sitting in the Oval Office, but Americans are being purposely duped by the Democrat National Committee's volunteer publicists, formerly known as the mainstream news media.

If it weren't for talk radio and the blogosphere, even what is known about Obama and his friend, former Weather Underground domestic terrorist and leader William Ayers, would only be a paragraph or two in the backpages of most newspapers, or a sentence or two on most TV and radio news programs.

On Friday night, one of America's top talk show hosts -- who happens to be an attorney and worked in the Reagan Justice Department as chief of staff -- recited a list of terrorist acts that would elicit envy from Osama bin Laden. Mark Levin had his listeners glued to their radios or PCs as he read the resume of a man who should be serving life in prison instead of enjoying a tenured professorship at a major university and entertaining a possible US President in his home.

Because of so-called "prosecutorial misconduct" Ayers escaped what could have been a life-sentence.

As I write this "resume of a terrorist," I find it difficult to understand how a man who is running for president of the United States would even know someone as anti-American and destructive as William Ayers. Plus, Ayers, his wife and their comrades at the Weather Underground are cop-killers. And Obama doesn't just know him personally -- he's a close friend with Ayers.

Here is the "resume" of an American terrorist:

7 October 1969 – Bombing of Haymarket Police Statue in Chicago, apparently as a "kickoff" for the "Days of Rage" riots in the city October 8-11, 1969. The Weathermen later claimed credit for the bombing in their book, "Prairie Fire."

8-11 October 1969 – The "Days of Rage" riots occur in Chicago in which 287 Weatherman members from throughout the country were arrested and a large amount of property damage was done.

6 December 1969 – Bombing of several Chicago Police cars parked in a precinct parking lot at 3600 North Halsted Street, Chicago. The WUO stated in their book "Prairie Fire" that they had did the explosion.

27-31 December 1969 – Weathermen hold a "War Council" meeting in Flint, MI, where they finalize their plans to submerge into an underground status from which they plan to commit strategic acts of sabotage against the government. Thereafter they are called the "Weather Underground Organization" (WUO).

13 February 1970 - Bombing of several police vehicles of the Berkeley, California, Police Department .

16 February 1970 – Bombing of Golden Gate Park branch of the San Francisco Police Department, killing one officer and injuring a number of other policemen.

6 March 1970 – Bombing in the 13th Police District of the Detroit, Michigan. 34 sticks of dynamite are discovered. During February and early March, 1970, members of the WUO, led by Bill Ayers, are reported to be in Detroit, during that period, for the purpose of bombing a police facility.

6 March 1970 – "bomb factory" located in New York's Greenwich Village accidentally explodes. WUO members die . The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer's dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey. The bomb was packed with nails TO INFILICT MAXIMUM CASUALTIES UPON DETONATION.

Ayers & Co. only shame is that they never did enough to cripple this country. This country's shame is that it let them do too much. They should be cell mates with Charles Manson.

Funny you should mention Manson, because what the Weather Underground and Black Liberation Movement were about was trying to incite a race war/revolution. That is EXACTLY what Charles Manson and his "Helter Skelter" scheme were about. In fact, Ayers' wife, Bernardine Dohrn, actually admired and praised Manson...

Allies in War

FrontPageMagazine.com | Monday, September 17, 2001:

ON THE MORNING OF THE ATTACKS on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, along with a million other readers of the New York Times including many who would never be able to read the paper again, I opened its pages to be confronted by a color photo showing a middle-aged couple holding hands and affecting a defiant look at the camera. The article was headlined in an irony that could not have been more poignant, "No Regrets For A Love Of Explosives."

The couple pictured were Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, former leaders of the 1960s’ Weather Underground, America’s first terrorist cult. One of their bombing targets, as it happened, was the Pentagon.

"I don’t regret setting bombs," Ayers was quoted in the opening line of the Times profile; "I feel we didn’t do enough."

In 1969, Ayers and his wife convened a "War Council" in Flint Michigan, whose purpose was to launch a military front inside the United States with the purpose of helping Third World revolutionaries conquer and destroy it.

Taking charge of the podium, dressed in high-heeled boots and a leather mini-skirt – her signature uniform – Dorhn incited the assembled radicals to join the war against "Amerikkka" and create chaos and destruction in the "belly of the beast."

Her voice rising to a fevered pitch, Dohrn raised three fingers in a "fork salute" to mass murderer Charles Manson whom she proposed as a symbol to her troops. Referring to the helpless victims of the Manson Family as the "Tate Eight" (the most famous was actress Sharon Tate) Dohrn shouted:

"Dig It. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!"

(big snip)

Today William Ayers is not merely an author favored by the New York Times, but a Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Illinois, Chicago.

His Lady Macbeth [Bernardine Dohrn] is not merely a lawyer, but a member of the American Bar Association’s governing elite, as well as the director of Northwestern University’s Children and Family Justice Center.

Segregated armies? How very retro and un-progressive!

It basically ends up giving the impression that they were a noble lot, just a bit misguided in their tactics.

Noble?
Yeah, if your consider cheering for the Viet Cong and wanting to see the US destroyed noble.

What is telling is how these malcontents grew up totally unrepentent, compared to many of their compatriots who were grieved after the Killing Fields and the boat people, realizing that they were in some part responsible, as part of the "anti-war" movement, for the murder and repression of millions of innocent people by homicidal communist tyrants who machine-gunned their way to power after the US pulled out of Southeast Asia. The blood of these innocents remains on the hands of Ayers and Company, who remain defiant and unrepentant. And to think that our next president counts this gang of goons as his buddies.

That is how the film portrayed them. It's hardly what I think of them. It was leftwing PBS after all. The liberal networks always twist history this way.

So has anything come out of the Annenberg Challenge documents they were trying to hide? Those were released on 8/26, according to a couple of web pages I found. Anything interesting yet?

Bill Ayer’s father was CEO of Commonwealth Edison during his youth. He and his brother were leaders of the SDS at the Univ. of MIchigan. Weather Underground arose from the tri-partite split in SDS splitting into factions alligned with various Communist philosophies. Progressive Labor Party (PLP) was Msoist, Weatherman was action oriented and Stalinist and Revolutionary Youth MOvement II was directed at labor and community organizing. It was the force behind the victory of Alderwoman Helen Schiller and has morphed into a support group for Illegals.
