Savage has always had it in him for McCain due to immigration (hard to blame him, but even so). And remember his donations to a San Francisco Democrat (can’t remember who).

He was waiting for McCain to choose, and then he planned to blast him over the choice (regardless of who he chose...other than Ron Paul, maybe). I actually believed that he was being honest on his show (for years), until this charade.

Savage will start fading from view soon enough, after this stunt.

I’ve listened to Savage several times and all I can say about him is....he’s loud! Sometimes sensible, but mostly loud.

McCain has never looked happier or more energtic than he did Friday morning, and he is not a good enough actor to fake that. He is thrilled with his VP pick. I am sure he knew that the media would behave in this manner...maybe not this bad, but they knew it would be bad.
