Sally Quinn is a Washington DC insider. She is so proud of that fact that she puts it at the top of her bio right on the top of her Newsweek and Washington Post column published this week. In what reads like an attack, Quinn speculates about the pregnancy of Bristol Palin, the 17-year old daughter of Sarah Palin. She's the up and coming GOP star that will get the nod for vice president this week in Minnesota from John McCain and the Republicans.
Quinn seems a bit upset that McCain picked a woman to run with him on the Republican ticket that isn't a Washington, DC insider and she says she is shocked and angry. She then attacks the pregnancy, the mom and the daughter and tries to convince her readers that what she calls "family values" voters will now abandon McCain because seventeen year old Bristol is pregnant.

Maybe it is time for DC insider Sally Quinn to pack up a designer bag and take a trip out of the Beltway and perhaps listen to what Evangelicals and her "value voters' actually believe. Her hateful column is dripping with anger, so the first part of her rant, "My first reaction was shock. Then anger," is believable.
The diatribe has received around 1,000 comments, many telling the self described "insider" that she is out of touch. The column is here. Maureen Dowd (a New York insider) was stunned, yes stunned, that someone could be a veep nominee that hasn't appeared on the NBC "insider" program, "Meet the Press." Sally and Maureen will need some serious luck if they try to sell that outside New York City or Washington, DC when everyone is screaming for 'change.'
Sally Quinn gets paid a lot of money to be Sally Quinn. One more reason why the drive-bys are going broke.
She’s also about 65 years old acting like she was 25. It was the most bizarre interview I ever saw.
Now I know why she “writes”.

Thank you, Sarah Palin, for taking us from the days where girls weren’t even allowed to learn to play a musical instrument to being able to accept the VP nomination for the Republican party. It doesn’t matter if we agree politically; it doesn’t matter if you and I would make the same choices; it matters that you’re there, and I respect you for it.

FACT :Sally Quinn got where she is by sleeping with and breaking up her boss Ben’s first marriage when they worked together at the Compost. There should be a Huge A on her chest !
I love these self-annointed titles like, “D.C. Insider” to somehow justify that their opinion matters more than others. These media “insiders” are just the democrats “useful idiots”. They are paid to spread propaganda and slander around, in exchange for making a name for themselves.
And watching Quinn talk tonight, you could see she struggling to present the talking points as if they were her original ideas. She completely betrayed herself when trying to explain how only certain mothers could be VP, but not Sarah Palin. You could see she lying through her teeth.
And her greatest qualification to pontificate is what, the ability to lie on her back?
She outright admitted that the reason the MSM is attacking Palin is because they didn't have the chance to vet her themselves. What audacity. What a bitch.
What really ticked me off watching it is that BOR, as usual, was already thinking about the next 3 things he was going to say and he let her completely slide on her comments. He wasn't even listening to what she was saying.

Sally Quinn is such a joke. Talk about ‘liberated’ - she got her job by sleeping with her boss at the Wash. Post Ben Bradlee and has been using that connection ever since. What a throwback she is.
Unlike Gov. Palin who worked her way by actually doing something. I must admit Palin is more conservative than me and I have a hard time with some of her opinions, but I sure respect her.
In this case, BO is Bill O’Reilly. It should not have been difficult to figure out given the context of the post.

The hypocrisy from this woman and most of the MSM chicks is almost funny, as evil as it is.
I’d bet money that back in the ‘60s and ‘70s, during women’s lib demonstrations, Sally’s skanky, crusty bra was right there being burned with the other bras. This “Sarah moment” is EXACTLY what the feminists have wanted for 4 decades. Now that all their work has come to fruition, it’s a terrible thing.
