Harry Reid has yet another reason to be angry about the Republican National Convention.
A night after Democrat-turned-independent Joseph Lieberman gave a rousing speech for John McCain, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin took a pointed shot at Reid in her high-stakes VP nomination speech. Palin noted that if Reid “can’t stand John McCain” a recent Reid quote in a Las Vegas newspaper then McCain must be doing something right in Washington.
“Ladies and gentlemen, perhaps no accolade we hear this week is better proof that we’ve chosen the right man,” Palin said after quoting Reid. “Clearly what the majority leader was driving at is that he can’t stand up to John McCain.”
Here’s Reid spokesman Jim Manley’s response, sent to Politico a few minutes ago:
“Anyone who knows Sen. Reid knows he never backs down when he’s fighting for what’s right and that he always stands up to John McCain when he is wrong,” Manley said. “Shrill and sarcastic political attacks may fire up the Republican base, but they don’t change the fact that a McCain-Palin administration would mean four more years of failed Bush-Cheney policies.”

If anyone knows shrill, it’s Dingy Harry.
The village of Searchlight, NV just called. They’re looking for their idiot.
Sarah pwned Reid tonight. In the Old West, it is the equivalent of “being called out”.
Calling her shrill doesn’t cut it, Dingy.
How come nobody got upset about this guy being a Mormon?
No no no. He really said that "I'm a shill".
I really hope that McCain decides to serve only one term, so that I can vote for Sarah Palin for President in 2012.
The greatest measure of how well she did tonight will be the level of vitriol that will be directed against her tomorrow and in the coming days. The liberals believe that Palin is the most evil Republican and the greatest threat to their liberal causes since Reagan.
The slime that they have flung so far is nothing compared to what is going to come. The Democrats and the MSM wing of the Democrat party are going to be frantic tomorrow. They will look like a pool of starving piranhas.
I love the smell of liberal flop sweat in the morning. It smells like ... Victory!
Where’s the Joker when you need him?
Sounds very much like Harry needs an enema and tonight Sarah Palin gave him one.
Poor Dingy.
Did the widdle woman bwooz your ego?
Shrill is a chauvinist code word for “this woman doesn’t know her place”.
The RATS like to dish it out, but they can’t take it!
Remember they dished out... “why, he was born with a ‘silver spoon’ in his mouth”, and “ I knew John Kennedy, and Senator, ‘YOU’RE NO JOHN KENNEDY’”
I swear david Gergen has soiled himself with fear that Palin’s speech was so effective.
And now Candy Crowley is saying McCain cannot top Palin, who gave the “speech of the convention”. How quickly a story line changes.
Yeah, Rudy was pumped and Andrea looked like she was at a funeral. HA!
My wife is already turned off by Obama crap.
I think my daughter is ready to embrace obama, it remains to be seen what my daughter thinks of Mrs. Palin
Thanks for ruining it for me! I was just getting ready to watch that movie.
Just kidding!
By God, if I knew how to do that, it would have happened already.
I really do think we will see a good turn for the Pub's this cycle.
Reid is long overdue for the DasHole treatment..........
We are trying.....
Yes, I saw that harpy Andrea Mitchel talking with Rudy. She looked petrified.
She baited Rudy with him being so negative toward Obama—but Rudy just pushed Obama’s inexperience and non-substance right back at her.
She finished with a long face and said “The war is on.”
Only thing she got right this week.
Which real U.S. Male isn’t? I hate that snowmobile driver!!! LOL!!!
Nice Sarah-cuda you got there.......
“She looked at the camera with this long face and said Its on.”
If she’s talking about the war between the liberal media and the rest of us who are fed up with said liberal media, she’s one hundred percent right.
