Palin defenders pointed out that Biden didn’t face similar questions in 1972 when a car crash took the life of his wife and daughter and seriously injured his sons soon after he was elected to the Senate. “Not a single colleague, friend or competitor advised him to quit his newly won Senate seat to raise his two little surviving sons,” wrote New York Post columnist Andrea Peyser.

Good point. Leave the family alone. Leave the children of candidates for office alone.

Even Campbell Brown (on CNN) got angry tonight at the double standard & attack on women when Harry Reid sent out an email calling Sarah Palin “shrill.” Brown and another woman co-host were ticked off, saying that men are never called shrill and that Palin wasn’t so during her speech...

Harry Reid reminds me of a little old gossipy and snoopy old maid.

Earlier, Campbell Brown had basically told the men that they really can’t understand the appeal that Palin will have to women (why...because they’re men, LOL.) But she said she identified with Palin (not politically, of course) but as a mother, and she felt a connection, of sorts.

Harry reminds me more of the self-important jackass who always hogs the mike at a city council meeting.

No double standard. The news folks are Democrats. The news organizations they work for are Democrat. Its that simple. Its a bit naive to expect friendly treatment or even fair treatment from the DNC’s paid propagandists.

Just like conservative blacks, aren’t “real” blacks, and conservative women aren’t “real” women.

BWAHAHHAAHA! I bet she got taken to the woodshed by ol' Wolf Blitzer when McCain refused to go on her show after her awful comments about Gov. Palin.

Sorry. I meant to say McCain refused to go on Blitzer’s show, not Campbell’s show.

Biden has a dong. Hence there is no need to raise his children as a single parent.

Sarah though should stay at home and watch the kids because her husband that has a dong obviously isn't doing a good enough job...

I don't know if that makes any sense but it's a legitimate statement because Republicans always want to tell us how to live our lives. Although that has never actually happened, I figure if I repeat it enough times the MSM will carry my water for me...

It’s true hypocrisy. Glen Beck used ‘double standard’ today, but that isn’t extreme enough: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2073918/posts

Well, obviously, if staying home to raise her children is a benchmark for holding political office, then “Grannie” Pelosi should be impeached.

Actually, pussywolfie sent it to Paul Bagala to slap her back in line. She seemed to get the message that she was off the rails and best get back on and shut up.

“Off the rails” is a mild expression for the insane lunatic she’s become.
