He’s been a McCain supporter for a while. I can only take Imus in small doses...very small doses. He never misses a chance to bash Pres. Bush....never!
Because the McCain-Palin Campaign is participating in the presidential public funding system, it will not raise private campaign contributions after August 31, 2008. However, federal law allows the Campaign to establish the Compliance Fund to defray legal and accounting compliance costs and preserve the Campaign’s public grant for media, mail, phones, and get-out-the-vote programs.

The money came from all the lobbyist and special interests to tell their boy to get off his a$$ and do something. McCain/Palin will be coming to clean up Washington and we just can’t have that.

My first answer was nearly facetious - actually, it IS a worldview problem, starting with some base assumptions.
You and I recognize the inherent value of the human being.
My view of this value comes from my belief that the human is the crowning glory of God’s creation, created in His image, for His glory, with eternal existance.
The human, therefore, has more value than the relatively shortlived society in which he lives.
He is also a Fallen sinner that is responsible for his own choices.
On the left, a human is simply an evolved animal, here by accident, who lives about 70-odd years, in a society that transcends his existance, therefore the society is far more important than the individual. Apply this to abortion, euthenasia, etc - people who can’t add to society are worthless.
Humans are basically good creatures that would be perfect if the society in which they lived were perfect. On the flip side, any bad behavior they exhibit is simply a response to a failing in society, and not their individual fault.
Any attempt to punish the individual for behavior that society caused him to exhibit is wrong - society needs to be corrected, not the individual.
I agree, it’s evil. What I can’t figure out is how it can be so many people that have been seduced and blinded by it.
