Apparently, you get off on mocking people (lower case, that is). I wonder what magazines are on your coffee table, bedside table, etc.

I am a true bibliophile in every sense of the word. While I can enjoy an article or two in a People magazine; (and for your information, that magazine often has very good articles on regular people or what are often called human interest stories).

As for periodicals and magazines, a few I subscribe to or read regularly (since I’m lucky enough to have friends recycle theirs knowing I’m a “poor” college student now):

Realm (for Angliophiles)
Commentary
Christianity Today
The Economist
Forbes (my dad let me read his up until his death in March)
The English Home
Better Homes and Gardens
Southern Living
Traditional Home
Smithsonian
Biblical Archeology Review
Reader’s Digest
The Plain Dealer (Cleveland’s newspaper)
The Jewish Voice
TownHall Magazine
AARP (a freebie!)
JAMA
New England Journal of Medicine

A bunch more but I don’t subscribe to so many any more - lots of reading in college, don’cha know.

I read books as well, but you wouldn’t have enough time to read the list. One of the gifts my father gave me was the gift of books and a love for books.

And as for taking time to post on FR, I also happen to type at over 100 WPM, so I can make quick work of a post - not nearly as time consuming as watching some rag on TV for 30 minute.s

One thing you need to learn is that FReepers like to poke fun at other FReepers. It’s all in fun, so don’t take offense over such trivial things.............
