Hey, Precious! Fight Your Own D*** Battles. Seal Your Own D*** Deal.

Psst, Obama is a Weakling — Pass it on.

News last night from The NY Times, via Riverdaughter, that Obama has run home to Big Sister to plead with her to fight his battle with Saracuda Palin for him. Oh, the poor Precious! Can’t face a tough woman on his own, huh? What’s the matter Barack? Just tell Saracuda that she’s likable enough. Call her a Sweetie and tell the media that she gets moody and bitchy periodically when she’s feeling down. That oughtta work. Or send Sebelius — woo-hoo! I’m sure she can take on Palin and come out of the encounter victorious.

Or, in the words of Anglachel (”Audacity Defecit”):

“Biden is a sign of weakness because of who Obama passed over.Whether or not you would have wanted to see Hillary as VP, that choice would have been a measure of his confidence in working with a more senior politician with her own dedicated power base. There is no corollary for McCain to choose from on the Republican side because there is no one of that stature in his party. I mean, can you think of anyone? To have selected Hillary would have fallen somewhere on the “no guts, no glory” scale between JFK offering the post to LBJ (grudgingly, wanting a rejection, knowing it was the key to victory) and Bill asking Al (unafraid of the competition, respectful of Al’s greater national statute, gambling on a powerful adminstrative team). Biden has mocked Obama in public, there is no synergy in the pairing, there is not enough contrast to produce creative counter balance, and Biden stands as repudiation of all the message of change.”

OR, BARACK — IF, AS HAS BEEN THE CASE SINCE JANUARY WHEN YOU FIRST DECIDED TO SIT BACK AND ALLOW THE SEXIST ONSLAUGHT FROM YOUR CRONIES IN THE MAINSTREAM AND NEW MEDIA DO YOUR DIRTY WORK FOR YOU, YOU CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON “LIBERAL, PROGRESSIVE” POLITICAL THINKERS LIKE THE GEMS AT THE DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND TO PUT THIS KIND OF STUFF OUT THERE FOR YOUR BENEFIT. (h/t to Taggles for finding this scum)

My goodness, I get such a charge outta reading the puma blogs. And it’s all gonna work to our benefit. These gals, and a few guys, LOATHE Obama, detest Biden, and really love OUR Sarah. The more the chosen one opens his mouth, the more they hate him.

And Barry IS afraid of Sarah. That woman is fearless....not at ALL afraid to take the fight right to him. No one has bothered to challenge him before, at least effectively. He HATES criticism and cannot STAND to be the object of ridicule.

Keep it up Pumas! And Sarah, you GO girl!

With the advent of the wonderful Sarah, I FINALLY found a tagline I like. Found it over on a post at Hot Air. Really cool. ;>)

This from another PUMA site:

“This is a career ending move for Obama for countless reasons. Let me enumerate a few:

!.) Let me get this straight, Sarah-cuda beats you up and steals your lunch money and instead of standing up for yourself, you send out a little note about how she hurt your feelings as a community organizer and you send out another girl to fight your battle. Er, OK. Will you also be sending her out to do business with the Russians, the North Koreans, the health insurance biggies? How about if she does all the debates for you too? Because if you need Hillary to do all the fighting on your sorry ass behalf, then maybe she should be nominee.

2.) Your damn surrogates in the blogosphere have been raking Sarah Palin over the coals for 6 days now. 6 Days! No panty was left unsniffed, no ovary unexamined, no uterus unexplored. You have done the same crotch shot of Sarah Palin in 6 days that it took the Republicans 8 years and $40 million dollars to do to Hillary Clinton. And Sarah still kicked you in the junk and gave you a wedgie. And guess what , Barack. We *liked* it.

3.) It won’t do you a bit of good. We LOVE Hillary Clinton and we want you to treat her with respect. If you send her to Florida to kick in Sarah’s teeth, we will see it as a mark of disrespect for her. She is a brilliant politician and a dedicated public servant, not your personal gladiator.

4.) She would do this for the party and the Democratic principles that she believes in. But after this primary season where she was treated so horribly by her own party, we are beginning to think that Hillary and Bill Clinton are the only ones in the party who still *have* any Democratic principles. Now, she will write a brilliant and probably very convincing speech as to why we should not support John McCain and Sarah Palin. And she would be right if the party she represents weren’t composed of a bunch of middle aged white sexist men. We want to get rid of those middle aged sexist men. We will be voting for downticket Democrats who represent our values. But we won’t be voting for you under ANY circumstances. If the party finds itself in a pickle now with an unelectable nominee, then we have a suggestion for it: CHANGE THE NOMINEE!

5.) It is time Hillary Clinton stopped being a doormat. If it’s campaign debt that keeps her indentured to you, we’ll have as many fundraisers as we need to to pay it off. But there is no reason you need Hillary to go after Palin. Get Richardson to do it. Or Dodd or Edwards. Ahh, but it has to be Hillary, right? Because otherwise it looks like these guys are attacking a female. What does that suggest to us? Well, to me it means that you got a problem with women. Color me shocked.

If Hillary is out there reading, don’t do it for him. Or if you must, stick to the Conflucian rules: No character assassination and no rumormongering without evidence. Actually, we can trust you to behave honorably but it’s the creeps you are promoting who won’t. So, ask yourself, where do you draw the line?

For us, this is it.”

I’m glad we may be getting these folks’ vote, but I’m not sure we want to exactly invite these kooks in our party either. The only thing we have in common, is the desire to see Obama lose. I know...i know...the enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that jive.

We need to be careful and not do what the Dems did with Obama, and make Sarah Palin godlike. It is her Alaskan pioneer spirit and down-to-eathedness that makes her special. She is a human. Pray for her.

You make a good point. Mass crowd adoration can poison a person. Yes, pray for her. She will be facing unspeakable pressure for the next two months....and who knows how many years after that. She has gone from zero to sixty in two seconds.

Believe me, I well understand your trepidation, but we may have more in common with the PUMAs than just wanting to see Obama lose.

These PUMAs are "mavericks" in their own right, and as such, are fiercely independent thinkers. They're not marching in lock-step with the Democrat party, and saw the shameful treatment of Hillary just like we did.

Don't forget how surprised and shocked we all were when the PUMAs first appeared. Our default considerations of Democrat voters were shattered by these rebels.

These folks are hopping mad, and that is a lot higher on the emotional scale than the average, covert liberal Democrat. I say let 'em in, and share what we have with them. I have no doubt that many, if not most will come to understand that conservatism is the bastion of the real rebels and patriots. Let 'em in so they can discover what real independence of thought within a group is like.

Think about it ... even Ronaldus Magnus was once a Democrat. And you know what happened when he got mad with the Dems? He became a Republican.

I have been thoroughly impressed with how far above DU-gutter-level most of these women are.

The PUMAs come off as smart, intelligent, articulate, with very good to even excellent writing and reasoning. It’s no wonder they are teed off-—unlike the DU dregs, they have the brains to know the score and the gumption to do something about it.

Unlike the DU-dregs, these are not the type of people who, once finally awakened to the political realities in their party, will stay on the plantation simply out of hatred.

And, since DU has never been worse, I think more and more of these PUMAs will be permanently appalled at what the dregs of their party are truly like AND at what influence they have with the party and the media.

All your remarks are spot on.

They are in the first stages of seeing what the Rat party truly has become. Many of them will question it all, and some will in fact start a journey that will lead them to being more conservative. Once they begin to empathize with a woman such as Palin, and vote for her, it won't be so hard to reevaluate a lot of things the Rat party has used to "blunt" women.

Once a person actually investigates what conservatism is all about, they find that it’s nothing like what they’ve been led to believe.

As Sarah said, “the office of the presidency isn’t a journey of personal discovery”, but awakening into the adult conservative mindset truly is.

I think the biggest and most surprising discovery for a lot of these Democrats is that they’ll find that conservatism contains the means and the principles to actually achieve those ideals they’ve striven for.

I concur with you that Sarah will likely be the bridge that brings many of them to our side, by showing them the total hypocrisy of the left.

I also think many of the PUMAs would be interested to see the video about and speech given by Cindy McCain at the convention.

Palin isn’t the first strong woman McCain has “partnered” with. Cindy has a strong record as well, in her own right.

I’m sure that Cindy’s story has already impressed the PUMAs. If they saw the video about her at the convention, they’re still wondering where their socks went after they were knocked off.
