SW009—I have some good news for you.
You and I have more sense on foreign policy than Joe Biden does. Joe Biden has been wrong on every major foreign policy issue since the Vietnam War.
So what good is his “knowledge of foreign policy” when he decides consistently against the best interests of America?
Don’t worry about foreign policy so much. It isn’t that complicated.
It boils down to this: Don’t mess with America or we’ll kick your ass.
Think that is insensitive? Well, after 64 years of saving the world, spending countless trillions to end Nazism, Fascism, Emperor- Worship, and Soviet Communism, including hundreds of thousands of American lives since 1944, and bringing freedom to about two billion people, we find that even though we took no territory, no oil, no gold, no silver or anything else from anybody, we have been repaid by a European Union and Russia that traded Food for Oil with Saddam Hussein post 9/11, and a Middle East that still wants to destroy us. You can count on one hand that number of countries that have sent soldiers to stand beside us in Iraq and Afghanistan and shed their blood with ours. And Communist China that will challenge us in the near future.
Only a strong offense will keep the bad boys in line, and I’m tired of apologizing for our supremacy. Unlike any other world power in human history, we have been benevolent to even our conquered enemies,at great material cost to ourselves.
Intricate foreign policy is for Euroweenie a$$hats. Teddy Roosevelt expressed it best: Speak softly and carry a big stick.
I see Sarah Palin in that mode. And I think John McCain will also take that mantle—at 72 he has nothing left to accomplish but a legacy to leave behind.
what you said
It boils down to this: Dont mess with America or well kick your ass.

Well said, Exit. After three tries, I figured I'd better give someone else a crack at making sense for our FRiend.
I think you hit the core of it. It all boils down to choosing someone of sufficient character, with a record of making tough, but correct decisions.
