The number I saw was 12K in the speaking area, plus another 36K who couldnt be fit into the speaking areaand probably had to hear it on loudspeakers.
My family and I went this morning. 10,000 free tickets were given away as a way for the fire marshall to limit the size of the croud. A few extras came (as ticket control was not really enforced) plus the 100 or so volunteers did not need tickets, so I would say 11K was the right number. 11K was what was announced at the rally.
I did not see a large crowd of 35K listening on speakers. I’m sure just the 11K were there.
