It needs addressed in this election. I don’t see how they will run away from it in the debates.

At this point it’s all a popularity contest anyway. The small percentage of us who actually know voting records, etc. don’t make any difference now. Not that we ever did.

Ugh.

The Establishment controls the 2008 Presidential debates, both in terms of financing, and sponsorship. If the moderators who pose the questions, like the two Presidential candidates and the Establishment, do NOT want immigration to come up, they will not ask the question. I bet it comes up, or, if it does, maybe discussed for a minute or two and we will learn nothing. That is where the town hall forum comes in.

One thing is for sure, had Tancredo, Hunter, Paul, Thompson, Romney been the nominee, or were Baldwin or Barr to be included in the debates, we would get a THOROUGH AIRING OUT of Immigration issues. As it is and as I see it, it will be the 800 pound elephant and donkeys in the room and will be ignored. So, we will have to find more creative ways to FLUSH THEM OUT on this issue.
