We started the day at a People Magazine photo shoot that took place in a ballroom at the hotel. It was like a movie set where the "prop masters" even had framed family photos on the tables in the mock living room setting. It was also one of the first times in a while where we had the entire family in one room at the same time, due to so many different competing schedules and commitments. It was like a mini-family reunion but with the bright lights and shutters of the cameras clicking nonstop. Before we knew it, the shoot was over and it was time to head over to the Xcel Energy Center and watch Governor Palin deliver her amazing speech. John Rich closed the night's session with a rocking performance of his song, "Raisin' McCain." I'm living the dream, baby!

New McCain Blogette
I love this blog, the photos and the inside look behind the scenes.
Thanks!
We all should send her our best wishes and thank her for this blog. It is quite unusual to see behind the scenes like this.
She is a very loyal blogger. She puts up something new every day. I am enjoying the pictures.
Thanks for posting. I just added her blog to my favorites; she does a great job. She had an adorable video with Piper the other day, too.
McCain blogette ping!
Thanks for posting! Everyone should be sure to read all the way to the bottom; there’s a note from Friday.
I love this blog.
So do I. It’s sort of like having a bunch of fun people over for dinner! And the fact that I just described John McCain as “fun people” shows what an impression the blog is making, because he’d seemed like a real stump until recently :-).
LOL. I know what you mean. Meaghan is doing a good thing for her dad.
McCain fence-sitters should read this blog.
Should, but they won’t.
